The Halloween season has arrived in Walt Disney World! With the recent introduction of autumn decorations in Magic Kingdom, the new Halloween merchandise, and the start of BOO Bash, it’s feeling more and more like fall in Disney World.
As you may know, a new season in Disney World calls for some new treats! We found a ghostly new treat in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, but is it as supernaturally good as it looks?
Between August 10th and October 31st, you can get the new Spooky Ghost Cupcake in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
This dessert is a fudge-filled chocolate cupcake, topped with cookies and cream buttercream, spooky sprinkles, and a vanilla meringue ghost.
This cupcake is available at two different locations in Hollywood Studios: Backlot Express and Trolley Car Café (aka Starbucks).
We thought that this cupcake was a big hit! The buttercream on top was great for those who are icing lovers, and it pairs perfectly with that chocolate cake. And that little meringue on top — delicious AND adorable!
The fudge filling was really nice, although we didn’t get to fully form our impression because there wasn’t very much of it in there…really just a little squirt. We definitely want some more of that!
All in all, we really enjoyed this cupcake and we’d recommend it to cupcake fans! If you want to try this wickedly good treat yourself, stop by Backlot Express or the Trolley Car Café to get it for $5.99
We’re always on the lookout for new seasonal Disney treats, so stay tuned for ALL the food and snack reviews!

Is the frosting “the grey stuff” from Be our Guest?
Mandy, our reporter says it’s not as smooth as the Grey Stuff, but it has a similar flavor profile. Not exact, though.
