Disney World is looking a little extra spooky right now; the Halloween season is officially here! And that means the Haunted Mansion will be getting a little extra love from fans for the next few months!
It’s Haunted Mansion season!
We’re already starting to see new Haunted Mansion merchandise pop up in Disney World and online, and the ride even recently got its own Disney Collectible Key! And it’s getting its own Muppets special on Disney+, which we are SUPER excited to see!
In honor of the Muppets Haunted Mansion special, we’re trying out a brand new snack! It’s the Muppets Haunted Mansion Chocolate Eclair. It’s a Dark Chocolate-filled Chocolate Éclair topped with Haunted Buttercream and Crunchy Purple-candied Pearls.

…or Muppets Haunted Mansion Wallpaper. In terms of their look, these kind-of reminded us of the Haunted Mansion portrait treats Disney first served up back in 2017 at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, except these new ones have a Muppets flair (of course)!
These treats are all the same flavor, so let’s see how they taste!

So, it turns out that haunted buttercream is VERY similar to vanilla buttercream. In fact, it might just be vanilla buttercream dyed purple, but we’re not complaining.

The treat is VERY chocolatey. We enjoyed the dark chocolate filling in the center. It wasn’t overly sweet but still SUPER creamy and rich. Honestly, it helps to keep the dessert from being WAY too sweet we think.

We were actually surprised at how much we liked this eclair. One complaint is that we wish the buttercream was a fun flavor since it’s such a fun color.

If you like chocolate eclairs, you’ll enjoy this and it’s a great treat for dark chocolate lovers. Plus, you might want to snag it if you’re a big Haunted Mansion or Muppets fan!
