Is it just us, or was August the longest month of the summer? SO MUCH happened!
We’ve been up to our ears in Disney news, including LOADS of details about the Star Wars hotel, an update on Disney Genie (and the retirement of the FastPass program), and hotel reopenings. And there have been a lot of menu changes at Disney World restaurants, too!
So without further ado, let’s get to those menu updates (warning: LOTS of price increases hit Disney World restaurants in August).
Magic Kingdom
Cool Ship
A “cool” snack spot in Tomorrowland reopened — we’re talking about Cool Ship!
You can currently get Churros for $6.19, soda/fountain beverages for $4.49, and bottled water for $3.50.

Tortuga Tavern
Tortuga Tavern at Magic Kingdom has officially reopened, and the menu has changed. The Turkey Leg with House-Made Chips is still there, but you can also get a Barbecued Slaw Dog, a Barbecued Pork Sandwich, an All-Beef Hot Dog, and a Peanut Butter, Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, and Banana Sandwich!
Tortuga Tavern is usually only open seasonally, so we’re keeping an eye on its hours so we can keep you updated.

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
There are some changes at Tony’s Town Square, too, including some new entrees. Here’s what’s different:
- ADDED: Antipasto Item: Garlic-Parmesan Wings — Garlic-rubbed Chicken Wings finished with Parmesan and served with Celery and House Dipping Sauce for $14
- ADDED: Italian Trio — Three classic favorites on one dish! Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Spaghetti with Beef-Pork Meatball for $33
- ADDED: Ravioli — Mushroom Ravioli, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Cremini Mushrooms, Romano Cheese, Asparagus, and Truffle Cream Sauce for $23. Add Grilled Chicken Breast for $27. Add Grilled Shrimp for $30
- ADDED: Spaghetti and Impossible Meatballs — Spaghetti, Mushroom Garlic Basil Impossible™ Meatballs, and Tony’s Marinara Sauce (Plant-based) for $22

Here’s Our Latest Review of Tony’s Town Square
Cinderella’s Royal Table
There are a few small changes at Cinderella’s Royal Table:
- Castle Salad has been replaced with Heirloom Tomato Salad — Mixed Heirloom Tomatoes, Roasted Pork Belly, Bleu Cheese Mousse, Candied Walnuts, and Balsamic Vinegar Gelée
- Tenderloin of Beef is now served with Whipped Potatoes, Maple-glazed Brussels Sprouts, Seasonal Vegetable, and Sauce Bordelaise
- Roasted All-Natural Chicken Breast is now served with Olive Tapenade, Sautéed Spinach, Smoked Paprika-Biscuits in a Tomato Broth
Cinderella’s Royal Table is also open for breakfast again.

At the Mexico Pavilion, we’ve got a few price increases and other updates at La Hacienda de San Angel. Here’s what’s changed on the Appetizers menu:
- Flautas increased from $13.50 to $14.25
- REMOVED: Crema de Elote
- Queso Fundido increased from $14 to $15
- Tlayudas Giant Tostada increased from $14 to $15
- Gordita increased from $13.50 to $14.25
The Entrees portion of the menu has also changed:
- Tacos de Camarones increased from $30 to $31
- Alambre de Res increased from $31 to $32
- Baja Tacos de Pescado increased from $29 to $38
- Cochinita Pibil increased from $31 to $32
- Carne Asada increased from $48 to $50
- ADDED: Parrillada del Mar — Grilled shrimp, fish, and scallops served with vegetables and esquites (Serves Two People) for $68
- Chicken Enchiladas are now Plant-Based Chicken Enchiladas — Corn Tortillas filled with Chicken atop Chipotle Black Beans with Salsa Ranchera and Cheese for $27

San Angel Inn
San Angel Inn is also getting some price increases:
- Sopa Azteca increased from $11 to $12
- Pollo a Las Rajas increased from $28 to $30
- Carne Asada increased from $48 to $50
Those are the only changes here, though — for now.

Nine Dragons Restaurant
Nine Dragons Restaurant has reopened in the China Pavilion. And there have been some menu changes. For Appetizers, here’s what’s changed:
- REMOVED: Plum-infused Tomatoes, Treasure Spring Rolls, and Pork Belly Bao Buns.
- ADDED: Crispy Duck Bao Buns for $13!
- Chicken Pot Stickers increased from $7 to $8.50
- Vegetable Spring Rolls increased from $5 to $5.25
- Side of Vegetable Egg Fried Rice increased from $4 to $5.25.
On the dinner menu, the following changes have been made:
- REMOVED: General Tso’s Chicken Bao Buns, Chicken Dumpling Consommé, and Spinach Noodles
- House Hot and Sour Soup now includes shrimp increased from $5 to $7.95.
- The Family Dinner Deal is now unavailable.
For Entrees, there was only one change on the Lunch menu: The Canton Pepper Beef increased from $20 to $24. On the Dinner Menu, though, there are a LOT of changes:
- REMOVED: Kung Pao Chicken, Spicy Mala Beef, Spicy Mala Chicken, Five-spiced Fish, Nine Dragons Fried Rice, and Roast Duck Salad.
- ADDED: Crispy Duck Fried Rice for $25, Kung Pao Duo Chicken and Shrimp for $25, Spicy Mala Happy Family for $25, and Kowloon Spare Ribs for $30.
- Honey Sesame Chicken increased from $20 to $23,
- Spicy Honey Crispy Chicken increased from $20 to $23
- Salt and Pepper Shrimp increased from$24 to $27
- Vegetable and Tofu Stir Fry increased from $17 to $18.
And here’s what’s happening with desserts:
- REMOVED: Banana Cheesecake Eggrolls and Chinese Ginger Cake
- Strawberry-Red Bean Ice Cream and Caramel-Ginger Ice Cream decreased from $4.28 to $4.25
On the Kids’ Menu, the Appetizers and Desserts section is completely gone. We also noticed price increases on Kids’ Entrees:
- Honey Chicken Nuggets increased from $7.98 to $8.98
- Sweet-and-Sour Shrimp with Lo Mein Noodles increased from $8.98 to $9.98
- Kid’s Deluxe increased from $10.98 to $11.98
There were also major changes on the Specialty Cocktails portion of the menu:
- REMOVED: Shanghai Fusion and Heavenly Clouds
- Ginger Zinger is now made with Lemon-Lime Soda instead of Ginger Ale
- Ginger Zinger, South Sea Breeze, and Jade Beauty have increased from $10.50 to $12.50
The Frozen Daquiris menu has been completely removed, and there were changes to the Beer Menu:
- Lucky Buddha and Tsingtao Pilsner increased from $7.75 to $8.50
The Non-Alcoholic Beverages on the menu now refers to smoothies as slushies — there has also been a price increase from $5.75 to $6.25. The available flavors, though, are the same — Strawberry, Mango, or a combo of the two called Shangri-La. Other non-alcoholic drinks have been removed, including the Hainan Sunrise, Iced Chai Tea, and Hot Chai Milk Tea.
Here’s what’s changed under Soft Drinks and More:
- ADDED: Fresh Brewed Iced Green Tea (Unsweetened) for $4.75
- REMOVED: Blackberry Jasmine Iced Tea (Unsweetened) and Iced Coffee
- Assorted Coca-Cola Soft Drinks increased from $3.99 to $4.75
- Raspberry Iced Tea (Sweetened) increased from $3.99 t0 $4.75
- the Variety of Fruit Juices increased from $3.25 to $5
- Lowfat Milk increased from $3.25 to $4.25
- Chocolate Milk increased from $3.25 to $4.25
- Hot Chocolate increased from $3.25 to $4.25
- Coffee regular or decaffeinated increased from $3.25 to $4.25
- Hot Jasmine Tea increased from $2.65 to $3.95
- Perrier Sparkling Bottled Water increased from $3.95 to $5
And here’s what changed under “Wines:”
- REMOVED: Chardonnay Kendall-Jackson, the Beaujolais-Villages Georges Duboeuf, the Cabernet Sauvignon Kendall-Jackson, and the Madeira Cossart Gordon.
- ADDED: Cabernet Sauvignon Borne of Fire, Washington (Bottle for $62.00 or Glass for $14.00) and the Conundrum Red Blend, California (Bottle for $52.00, Glass for $12.00)

Funnel Cake
Funnel cakes just got a little more expensive at EPCOT:
- Funnel Cake with Sugar increased from $8 to $9
- Funnel Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream increased from $11 to $12
- Funnel Cake with Chocolate Sauce increased from $9.50 to $10.50
- Cookies ‘n Cream Funnel Cake increased from $12 to $13.50

Tokyo Dining
Tokyo Dining has reopened in EPCOT and there have been some updates to the menu. Here’s how the Appetizers (or Otsumami) part of the menu has changed:
- Garden Salad increased from $5.95 to $6
- ADDED: Crab Salad — 3pc Crab Legs, 2pc Crab Claws, Mixed Greens and Yuzu Gari Dressing for $30
- Vegetable Miso Soup is now just Miso Soup and increased from $5 to $7
- REMOVED: Asari Clam Miso Soup
- ADDED: Wagyu Wrap — Wagyu Striploin, Uni, Black Tobiko, Rice, Nori, drizzled with Sashimi Soy Sauce for $31
- ADDED: Kamo Roast — Sliced Duck Breast, Asian mushrooms, drizzled with duck sauce for $22
Here are the changes under the “Sushi Rolls” part of the menu:
- Spicy Crunchy Roll increased from $13 to $14
- Shrimp Tempura Roll increased from $15 to $16
- ADDED: Hako Rainbow — Layered Tuna and Salmon, Tobiko, Avocado, Shiso rice, Soy paper, Eel and Volcano sauce for $18
- California Roll increased from $13 to $14
- Unagi Avocado Roll — Barbequed Eel with Avocado, Nori, topped with Eel sauce for $16
- REMOVED: Volcano Roll, Dragon Monster Roll, Rainbow Roll, Seared Tuna Roll, Sunshine Salmon Roll, Citrus Shrimp Roll, Yuzu Ginger Beef Roll, Avocado Roll, Salmon Roll, Tuna Roll, Cucumber Roll, and Eel Cucumber Roll
There are also some NEW items on the “Donburi” part of the menu”:
- Unagi Don — Barbequed Eel over rice with green onion and Eel sauce for $28
- Mini Chirashi — Tuna, Uni, Ikura with grated Wasabi and Yuzu peel served in a masu cup for $37
- Salmon Ikura Don — Sushi-grade Salmon Ikura over rice for $24
There’s now a “Tempura” section for the following:
- Assorted Tempura (Shrimp, Assorted Vegetables) — 3pc Shrimp, Onion, Asparagus, and Red Bell Peppers for $17
- Tempura/Sushi Roll Combo (Shrimp, Vegetable Tempura and California Roll) — 3pc Shrimp, Onion, Asparagus, and Red Bell Peppers for $25
The Kids Menu has some pretty massive changes — everything was removed from it, except for the California Roll and the Shrimp Tempura.
Finally, there’s a new section for “Liquor Premium,” which includes:
- Haku Vodka for $13
- Legend Bourbon for $15
- Roku Gin for $13

Pizzafari
Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom has officially reopened with some menu changes:
- REMOVED: Mandarin Orange Lemonade and Mandarin Orange Vodka Lemonade
- ADDED: Blue Lagoon Lemonade with Glow Cube — Minute Maid Lemonade, Citrus, and Gummy Worms with a souvenir Glow Cube for $8.49 (available without glow cube for $5.49)
- ADDED: Blue Lagoon Lemonade with Rum and Glow Cube — Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Minute Maid Lemonade, Citrus, and Gummy Worms with a souvenir Glow Cube for $14 (available without glow cube for $11)
Here’s what’s different under Entrees:

- Wok-Fried Green Beans increased from $11.79 to $11.99
Under “Shareables,” we see another increase:
- Ahi Tuna Nachos increased from $18.79 to $18.99
Under “Soups and Salads,” the option to add a half portion of soup or salad to any entrée increased from $3.29 to $4.99. These changed in price, too:
- Wonton Soup increased from $7.29 to $7.99
- House Salad increased from $8.79 to $9.99
- Seared Tuna Salad increased from $19.99 to $20.99
- Chop Chop Chicken Salad increased from $17.99 to $18.99
Under “Noodles and Bowls,” the option to add Tofu to Vegetable Lo Mein increased from $4.79 to $4.99. Under “Chef’s Specials,” Coconut Shrimp increased from $25.79 to $25.99. Under “Entrees,” the Kobe Beef Burger increased from $20.99 to $21.99. For “Sides:”
- House Fried Rice increased from $13.79 to $13.99
- Chicken Fried Rice increased from $9.79 to $9.99

Even the Kids’ Menu wasn’t safe from price increases. All the Kids’ Entrees have gone up from $10.79 to $10.99. And Kids’ Desserts have increased from $3.99 to $4.99.

But there’s a new roll you can try out here! The Cascade Roll is made with Tuna, Salmon and Hamachi Poke, Jicama, Cucumber, Yuzu- Avocado Puree, Masago Arare and Soy Gel for $26.
Other changes here include:
- Under Entrees, Green Circle Chicken was replaced with All-Natural Chicken — Buttermilk-fried Chicken, Tupelo Honey Glaze, Kimchi Fried Rice, Confit Egg Yolk, Cucamelon for $44

Here are the updates on the Breakfast Menu over at Whispering Canyon Cafe:
- The Carnivore Signature Skillet is now served with House-made Cornbread with Honey Butter, Maple-Chipotle Barbecued Slow-smoked Pork Ribs, Oak-smoked Beef Brisket, Barbecued Pulled Pork, Citrus-Herb Chicken, Country Potatoes, Buttered Corn, Charred Carrots. The price has also increased from $22 to $24 per person.
The Kids’ Menu has a new entree: Grilled Chicken Breast, which is served with a choice of two Selections and a choice of Small Lowfat Milk, Small Dasani Water, or Small Minute Maid Apple Juice for $10.

‘Ohana
‘Ohana reopened recently and a lot of old favorites were missing from the menu. Well, we’re happy to report that some of those dishes are back! Here’s what’s changed:
- ‘Ohana Dinner Skillet is now Wood-fire Grilled Teriyaki Beef, Spicy Peel-n-Eat Shrimp, Grilled Chicken with Polynesian-inspired Chimichurri Sauce, ‘Ohana Noodles, and Roasted Broccolini
- REMOVED: Island Shrimp Casserole
- REMOVED: Kielbasa
- Roasted Chicken is now Grilled Chicken
Don’t worry, though, the Bread Pudding is still on the menu (although we still miss the version with Bananas Foster sauce).

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Boma
One of our favorite restaurants at Disney World, Boma, has finally reopened. And get this — rather than switching to family-style all-you-can-eat dining like so many other buffets at Disney World have done when reopening, Boma is the first actual buffet to reopen at Disney World. But other buffets will be returning soon to Disney World!
The breakfast buffet features Creamy Pap, Turkey Bobotie, Pancakes, Waffles, Deviled Eggs with Salmon, and Fresh Baked Goods. The dinner buffet will have Pork Ribs, African-spiced Strip Loin, Lamb Bobotie, and more. You can also expect a delicious rotating selection of soups, as well as salads like the Berbere Chickpea Salad.

Victoria Falls Lounge
Meanwhile, a ton of menu updates are coming to the newly-reopened Victoria Falls Lounge. Here’s what’s changing:
- Braai Burger and Seasoned Fries is now made with Vulcan Spice, Safari Amber Beer Cheese, Braised Beef Marmalade and price increased from $17 to $19
- REMOVED: Cheese and Charcuterie
- ADDED: Cape Town Slap Chips — Fried Potatoes, Roasted Pearl Onions, Heirloom Tomatoes, Arugula, Apricots, Sherry Vinaigrette, Blue Cheese for $13
The drinks menu, though, is where most of the changes are happening here — and yes, there are price increases.

- ADDED: Victoria Falls Mist — Midori Melon Liqueur, Van der Hum Tangerine Liqueur, Banana Liqueur, and Sour Mix topped with Sprite for $14
