We are having a BLAST exploring Disney World’s 50th Anniversary today!
Disney World is abuzz today as the 18-month anniversary celebrations kick off in all four parks. We’ve seen new entertainment, crowds, and (you know it) new EATS. We’ve also found that each of the parks has its own little change that helps to bring the birthday magic — a new park map!
First thing this morning, we snagged the brand-new 50th Anniversary Magic Kingdom Map. Honestly, this might be the classiest park map we’ve ever seen.
This commemorative guidemap features a beautiful royal blue cover with the 50th logo in shiny gold on the front. Inside, you’ll find all the usual tips and information about Magic Kingdom, plus a two-page fold all about the World’s Most Magical Celebration.
Now, this map is dated October 1st, 2021, and is an exclusive offering today only! In fact, most (if not all) of the maps were gone by late afternoon!

But don’t worry! Magic Kingdom is getting a new regular map for the 50th too! This one is available today and will continue to be available going forward. It features Cinderella Castle in its Beacon of Magic form.
It might not be quite as classy as the 50th map, but it’s still positively gorgeous and will make for a great keepsake! Plus, the other four parks have similar designs so you can look to snag them all.
EPCOT’s map features the new Beacon of Magic lighting on Spaceship Earth. The shimmery blue of these maps really puts us in the festive, 50th mindset.
Like the commemorative map, the standard maps have notes about the 50th Anniversary as well!
No surprise here, but Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s map features the Tree of Life with its Beacon of Magic lighting. We can’t WAIT to see the tree all lit up later today. The art looks beautiful!
Aaaaand last but certainly not least, the Disney’s Hollywood Studios map has Tower of Terror looking positively stunning! The gold on this one really stands out!
And there you have it! Those are the brand-new maps in Disney World today. What beautiful ways to get around the parks and then remember your trip afterward. Stay tuned to DFB as we continue to celebrate Disney World’s 50th!
