Disney World just introduced a brand-new Annual Passholder program a few weeks back, and there have been some big changes!
The pass options and pricing were updated for those who wanted to purchase or renew their passes, and now there are some brand-new offerings in the My Disney Experience app for Passholders to check out.
The My Disney Experience app has just added the Passholder Buzz section to the homepage for those who are logged into an account with an annual pass connected.
Once you click the “Learn More” button, you’ll be guided to a new page filled with information just for passholders and headlined with a welcome video explaining the new section of the app.
They’ve got plenty of great deets here, including updates on which Passholder discounts and perks are currently available. These links direct you away to the Disney World website.
There are also behind-the-scenes tidbits on various aspects of the 50th Anniversary. You can learn more about how some of Disney’s most popular souvenirs are designed or even check out recipes for your favorite theme park eats.
After that, you’ll find “The Latest Buzz” with articles written on all the important news items. There’s one with details on the current shopDisney discount and one that has a short video with the additions to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!
And then at the very bottom, you’ll find some important resources, like the current updates on Disney Park Passes, the Passholder program, and FAQs.
If you’re an Annual Passholder, make sure to keep checking back in this section for the most up-to-date Passholder information and news. You’ll be able to find many links to relevant topics and pages!

This has not shown up for me and I updated the app.
I can’t get it to work either. Do I need to be in the park for it to work? I have the tile in the MDE app, but then it says it’s unavailable.
Strange. Our team members who are APs can access it even when not onsite. Maybe try updating the app and making sure your AP is loaded in your My Disney Experience app.
