Holiday decorations are up in some spots at Disney World, gingerbread displays are being constructed, and some holiday treats have already arrived!
This year, quite a lot of holiday snacks are coming to Disney World’s theme parks, Disney Springs, and the resorts. While some of the treats are new, some are returning items from previous years, including a couple of BIG favorites. If you’re wondering what returning items you’ve GOT to try, we’ve got your list right here!
While we wait to see what new snacks will steal our holiday hearts, here’s our list of the 3 returning treats to Disney World that you MUST try:
1 — Red Velvet Whoopie Pie
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Backlot Express and Trolley Car Café you’ll find the fantastic Red Velvet Whoopie Pie! This is a made of two THICK red velvet cake rounds with classic cream cheese filling and festive sprinkles between them.
This beauty is DELICIOUS! It’s massive, there’s lots of red velvet cake (you definitely need to be a red velvet fan for this), and that cream cheese frosting is amazing. It’s rich (a.k.a. good to share) and a must-get in our opinion.
This treat will be available from November 8th through January 3rd.

2 — Holiday Red and Green Creme-filled Sandwich Cookie Bonbons
Our next must-get pick are the famous Holiday Red and Green Creme-filled Sandwich Cookie Bonbons! These are a fan-favorite treat with a long history at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
What you need to know is that these delicious items are made of cookies and cream mousse-filled bonbons that are placed on an Oreo cookie base. There’s also a bit of chocolate frosting and sprinkles on top.
Seriously, these are a Disney staple and a total dream. They pack a big Oreo-flavored punch, are served cold (yum!), aren’t too sweet, and have a nice light texture.
If you’ve never had these before, they are well worth a try! These treats are available now through December 31st at the Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

3 — Gobbler Poutine
Our last snack brings us to The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs. While our other 2 returning must-try snacks have been sweet treats, there are also some delicious savory treats that arrive in Disney World for the holidays!
One of our favorites is the Gobbler Poutine! This dish is made with tasty fries topped with turkey, brown gravy, cranberry chutney, and cheese curds. Yes, it’s basically a delicious holiday meal served on top of fries, as all meals should be served.
We love so many things about this dish! The cranberry sauce adds a nice tangy and sweet flavor. Combine that with the savory and salty nature of the fries, and the extra layer of flavor added by the cheese curds and you have, in a word, perfection.
The favors blend together beautifully, the dish is filling (and totally sharable), and it’s warm and delicious. Seriously, unless you hate Thanksgiving/holiday meal flavors, we think this is one you’ll truly enjoy.
You can get it from November 5th through December 30th at The Daily Poutine.

Interestingly, out of our 3 must-get returning treats, 1 is at a resort, 1 is at Disney Springs, and 1 is at one of the actual theme parks. It’s just a good reminder that while the snacks in the parks can be delicious, you shouldn’t forget about the awesome treats (and holiday decorations too!) that come to Disney Springs and the resort hotels!
So, if you’re looking for some solid, tasty returning holiday treats in Disney World, these could be some great options! We’ll be making our way through all kinds of holiday treats soon, so be sure to stay tuned for more photos and reviews.
