Hey DFB friends! We’re here with more updates and news from Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney World has seen hundreds of price increases this week, and Animal Kingdom has also been impacted. Check out all the news from Animal Kingdom here!
Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Along with many other locations around Disney World, Animal Kingdom has had quite a few price increases as of this week, including at spots such as Anandapur Ice Cream Truck, Trilo-Bites, Restaurantosaurus, and a few others. The KiteTails Sundae, made with strawberry and lemon-flavored soft-serve swirled together and topped with a white chocolate medallion, increased from $5.49 to $5.99.
While some menu items around Animal Kingdom received price decreases, most prices increased, so make sure you review the updated menus while planning your Disney World food budget!

The seasonal Joffrey’s Coffee Fairytale Love Latte has returned to Disney World, and it’s made with espresso, milk, dark chocolate sauce, and caramel and coconut syrups for $6.09 (which is an increase from the 2021 price of $5.69).
You can get it hot or iced, and we did enjoy it in 2021! It’s not overly sweet thanks to the dark chocolate, but it is VERY rich.
Keep that in mind if you want to try it!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
At Riverside Depot, we noticed the main doors were blocked off during our visit, so you may have to enter the shop using a side door.
We spotted the arrival of Snow White Wishables, right next to the new Rapunzel Wishables. They go for $14.99.
There was a new pink “This is My Castle” Keychain for $9.99, and it comes with a crown charm and “princess” beads.
There were some new t-shirts for kids, like this XOXO Mickey & Minnie T-Shirt for $19.99…
…and this Made of Magic T-Shirt also for $19.99.
There was also a sweet new t-shirt for adults, with the lovable volcanoes from the Pixar short Lava. The “I Lava You” T-Shirt is $24.99.
That’s all the new merchandise for now!
Animal Kingdom Various Updates
We noticed a slight change this week with the Disney KiteTails show, with the performers on watercrafts now wearing masks. This daytime show features these performers pulling large three-dimensional kites around the Discovery River Amphitheater.
When the show debuted in 2021, the performers did not wear masks, so this appears to be a recent change.
You can catch KiteTails in the Discovery River Amphitheater during several showtimes throughout the day.
