The rush to get into the holiday spirit can actually happen MONTHS before the holiday season, and Disney is no exception.
We haven’t hit Halloween yet, but already we’re starting to see some Christmas decor and other holiday decorations out and about. And while we’re not counting the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is still amping up its holiday spirit with a few recent developments!
That’s right, we recently saw Disneyland get a jumpstart on the holiday season — which officially begins on November 10th and runs through January 7th, 2024 — and we have to say, it’s coming together quite nicely!
Starting in Mickey’s Toontown, we can already see that Mickey’s house is taking part in that holiday jumpstart. With bulbs, ornaments, ribbons, and garland lining the outside of his house, Mickey’s home boasts an extra level of festive and welcoming charm.
Mickey’s house isn’t the only building in the festive spirit. All throughout Toontown, we can see holiday decorations and ribbons galore. With wreaths and ornaments left and right, no one could blame you if you thought it was December already when you stepped foot in this toon-filled land!
While Halloween decorations still adorn the rest of the Disneyland Resort, Toontown has been especially proactive in getting us hyped for the next big holiday event! With how creative these decorations can get, our excitement levels for the change in theming just get higher and higher.
We think it’s a ton of fun that the theming extends to the attractions in Toontown. Next time you stop by Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, be sure to check out Roger high above the queue in his Santa outfit!
Toontown isn’t the only land in Disneyland already joining the holiday fun. New Orleans Square is currently decorated in a blend of holiday and Mardi Gras theming!Â
With crescent moon Santa Claus tree ornaments and Mardi Gras-colored decorations throughout, this land offers a more unique holiday experience that certainly can’t be found in many other places in Southern California.
With how neat the decorations look in both New Orleans Square and Mickey’s Toontown, we can’t wait to see how the rest of the holiday decorations unfold at the Disneyland Resort! Stay tuned here at DFB for all the latest Disneyland news!
