Disney Genie+ is CHANGING temporarily in Disneyland tomorrow!
Genie+ is the skip-the-line service that guests can buy in Disneyland and Disney World. Once you buy it for the day, you can make Lightning Lane reservations throughout the day to skip the normal standby lines and save time! Only certain attractions are included with Genie+, and the list for Disneyland Park is changing tomorrow, January 22nd.
Starting on January 22nd, the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disneyland Park will be temporarily available on Genie+!
Pirates of the Caribbean isn’t normally available with Genie+ in Disneyland, but it will be for a while since so many other rides are under construction in this park.
In fact, January 22nd is also the day that Haunted Mansion closes as Disney re-works the queue area and adds in a souvenir shop.
Splash Mountain closed last year as Disney works to turn this ride into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Here’s a look at some other closures in Disneyland Park:
- Fantasmic! Nighttime Spectacular — Anticipated Reopening Date: May 24, 2024; Guests can enjoy a NEW show in the meantime: The Heartbeat of New Orleans — A Living Mural.
- Mark Twain Riverboat –– Closed on September 17th; Anticipated Reopening Date: February 3rd, 2024
