It’s no secret that Disney’s virtual waiting room system for major ticket drops leaves much to be desired!

In the past when waiting to purchase for Oogie Boogie Bash or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and other events of that kind, we’ve spent HOURS in virtual waiting rooms and queues. Many times, we’ve seen the Disney World or Disneyland Resort websites crash before we got our chance to purchase. But now, for a new event at Disneyland, the company is making an effort to IMPROVE the purchasing experience.
Coming soon to Disneyland Park is Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite! It’s one of several after-hours events at the park this spring, and we just got more details about what will be offered for this one in particular.

First of all, you should know that Star Wars Nite will take place on April 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, and 30th, as well as May 2nd, 7th and 9th, 2024. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Tuesday, February 20th for Inspire Key holders, no earlier than 9AM PT. Then, on February 21st and 22nd, all Magic Key holders will be able to make their purchase from a limited number of pre-sale tickets.
On Friday, February 23rd, no earlier than 9AM PT, tickets will go on sale to the general public. Tickets are limited and subject to availability.

But we’ve got some good news about the ticket sale! For the first time, if you’re waiting in the online queue to purchase Star Wars Nite tickets, you may have the option to be digitally notified when it’s your turn to purchase. To use this feature, once you’re in the queue, choose the “notify me” option and enter your email address. You’ll receive an email once it’s your turn — from the time your turn begins, you’ll have ten minutes to use the link to return to the site.
