Did you hear the news? A brand-new Disney festival is coming soon!

Pixar Fest is happening at Disneyland Resort from April 26th through August 4th, 2024, and is all about fun with Pixar pals. It will span both parks (Disneyland and Disney California Adventure), Downtown Disney, and beyond. Disney just dropped new details about the fest, so we’re sharing everything you need to know!

We’ve already given you a little info on what Pixar Fest is, but we’re going over what you really need to know before attending this event!

What, When, and Where?

Pixar Fest is taking place at Disneyland Resort — specifically, at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and even Downtown Disney! The event kicks off on April 26th and runs through August 4th, but the food booths (don’t worry, more on that later!) won’t actually open until May 10th, so keep that in mind if you’re planning a visit.

The event will be a celebration of all things Pixar, including entertainment like parades and fireworks, characters, and for the first time — FOOD BOOTHS!

Entertainment

The brand-new “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade in Disney California Adventure will feature over more than two dozen Pixar pals! The parade will be presented TWICE per day. Check your Disneyland App for showtimes so you don’t miss it.

And, over at the Hollywood Backlot at Disney California Adventure, you can party it up at Club Pixar! This nighttime party will feature an interactive DJ dance party, live performances, games, photo ops, themed food, crafted drinks, and more.

At Disneyland park, “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” will return… but with some all-new scenes from Pixar’s Onward, Soul, Luca, Turning Red and Elemental! These will join returning moments such as Miguel from Coco strumming his guitar and Carl and Ellie’s house from Up floating above Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The Pixar Pals Playtime Party will take place in the Fantasyland Theatre throughout the day! This high-energy show, interactive games, photo ops, and activities inspired by Pixar films will be part of the fun.

Characters

Disney hasn’t shared the exact characters or locations for the meet and greets, but since Pixar Fest is all about Pixar, we’re hoping for some awesome friends to join the event.

Disney did say that “At various locations in both parks, you’ll be able to meet many characters from Pixar stories, including friends from “Inside Out” and “The Incredibles.” You may also encounter Ember and Wade from “Elemental,” who will be making their Disneyland Resort debut for Pixar Fest!”

Merchandise

Of course, there will be some exclusive merchandise at the event as well! Disney shared a sneak peek at some of the items we can expect.

Food

There will be six food booths along with other food items served at additional locations throughout Pixar Fest for you to enjoy! These booths will be open beginning on May 10th, so we’ll have to wait a bit after the festival starts to see them.

• Reimagined classics at Gusteau’s To-Go, themed to Ratatouille
• A playful mélange of elements at The Elemental Table, inspired by Elemental
• Fun foods perfect for a tween, boy band (or anyone, really!) at 4*Town Fav*4*ites from Turning Red
• Feel-good foods that feed your soul at The Spark, inspired by Soul 
• Flavors to appeal to all of your emotions at Hanger Management from Inside Out.
