You only have ONE WEEK to visit this Downtown Disney restaurant until it closes forever!

Downtown Disney is the shopping and dining district in Disneyland Resort, and it’s home to a lot of great restaurants and snack stands. However, one of those restaurants is permanently closing its doors soon.

Tortilla Jo’s in Downtown Disney will permanently close in one week, on April 7th.

Originally, this restaurant was going to close on March 31st, but then it delayed the closure by a week, giving fans a few more days to visit before it’s gone.

On the Disneyland website, Tortilla Jo’s is still showing hours for April 7th (Breakfast from 8AM to 11AM, lunch from 11:05AM to 3:55PM, and dinner from 4PM to 10PM)…

…but starting on the 8th, it lists “no times available.”

Tortilla Jo’s is a table service restaurant with a quick-service Taqueria attached. That Taqueria — which serves customizable burritos, tacos, and bowls — will be closing as well. However, the Taqueria will be open a little bit longer than the full-service restaurant: it will close on April 13th.

Downtown Disney is going through a bit of a makeover right now, with new restaurants and shops coming soon. Although we’ve seen some places permanently close, others are coming soon, like Porto’s Bakery and Din Tai Fung.

As much as we’re going to miss the tasty guacamole from Tortilla Jo’s, there are actually three NEW Mexican restaurants by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán coming to Downtown Disney.

Look out for Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita. Tiendita will be a counter-service location, offering up Chef Gaytán’s “heritage flavors on the go, with quick service Mexican street-food staples” like Esquites and Tacos al Pastor.
