It’s not every day that Disneyland transforms one of its classic attractions, so when it happens, it’s for a BIG reason!

Disneyland is gearing up to kick off a celebration that’s out of this galaxy, and Space Mountain may not be the ride you’re looking for after all!

We’re dropping in to remind you that Space Mountain in Disneyland is CHANGING very soon! Starting tomorrow, April 5th through June 2nd, 2024, Space Mountain will change its theming over to Hyperspace Mountain as part of the Star Wars Season of the Force celebration.

The classic dark ride attraction will be overlayed to fit within the Star Wars theme. Riders will once again be treated to racing through the galaxy, encountering a Star Destroyer, and you might even find yourselves dodging TIE fighters along the way.

Hurtle through hyperspace with the return of Hyperspace Mountain, plus touch down in a faraway galaxy filled with epic encounters, exciting flavors, and more during Star Wars Month, returning to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. May 1 to June 4, 2023. (Disneyland Resort)

Of course, this will only be one of the many offerings that will make up this limited-time experience at Disneyland. Exclusive merchandise, treats, new Magic Shots for PhotoPass, and even new scenes will be added to Star Tours to mark the occasion.
