NEWS: Disney Announces NEW Perk for Magic Key Holders

Disneyland has revealed a new perk for Magic Key holders in 2025!

The Magic Key Program is Disneyland Resort’s annual pass program. Those who are Magic Key holders get admission into the parks on select days (depending on the Magic Key Pass), receive discounts, and more.

According to The Orange County Register, Disneyland has revealed that an increased discount is coming for Magic Key holders in 2025. Key holders will be able to take advantage of a bigger discount on Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Magic Key holders can get Lightning Lane Multi Pass for 50% off, instead of the regular 25% at select times during the year.

This discount will be first offered from January 6th through January 31st, 2025. While new sales of Magic Key passes are currently paused, sales are expected to restart later this year, according to The Orange County Register.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass is the newest skip-the-line service that debuted at Disneyland Resort on July 24th, 2024. The service starts at starts at $30 per day, per ticket at Disneyland Resort. Prices vary by date, and the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service is subject to availability. The highest price we have seen in Disneyland Resort is $35 per day, per ticket.

When using the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service, guests can select return times for 1 ride at a time with a one-hour arrival window. You can make your first Lightning Lane selection once you enter the theme park. Then, once you use a selection, you can make another one based on what is still available.

Magic Key holders can purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass service for half off during select times in 2025. This is just one of the many benefits that you can take advantage of being a Magic Key holder. Magic Key holders also receive discounts on food and merchandise, exclusive PhotoPass opportunities, special experiences, Magic Key Holder Months, and more. Additionally, Disneyland also announced that Magic Key holders will be getting a preview of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before it opens, according to The Orange County Register.
