Who’s getting pumped for spooky season?!
We’re getting our plans set for the Halloween season, and of course, that means a trip to Disneyland Resort to visit Oogie Boogie Bash! The popular event is returning for 2025, and we’ve rounded up the FULL list of everything that it has to offer.
Tickets & Details
Let’s start this list off with the basics! Oogie Boogie Bash is taking place on select nights from August 17th to October 31st in 2025. Tickets go on sale to the public on June 26th, and they go on sale for Magic Key holders starting June 24th. Ticket prices start at $139 per person and go up to $199 per person, depending on the date you choose to visit.
With your ticket, you’ll be able to enter Disney California Adventure (where Oogie Boogie Bash is held) at 3 PM. The event itself runs from 6 PM to 11 PM each night. Tickets are pretty popular and often sell out, so you’ll want to hurry and make your purchase as soon as you can!
Entertainment
One of the most exciting parts of visiting Oogie Boogie Bash is getting to check out all the exclusive entertainment. This year, the fan-favorite Frightfully Fun Parade will be returning, and it will have two showtimes each night.
Another major draw for this event is the immersive Treat Trails. Each of these pathways includes spots where you and your group can go trick-or-treating, but they’re also home to Disney Villains! As you walk by and snag your candy, you can snap photos and interact with some very cool and incredibly rare characters. We can’t wait to see who will be in attendance this year!
We’ve also been able to meet several non-villain characters throughout the park in the past. Disney has confirmed that in 2025, you’ll be able to interact with some of your favorite pals in their Halloween costumes. We can’t wait!
Oogie Boogie Bash often has other exclusive entertainment options as well, but Disney has yet to confirm any others for 2025.
Attractions
One special attraction that’s pretty popular during Oogie Boogie Bash is Villains Grove. This walk-through display inside the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail features special lighting and sound effects, as well as music to give you the feel that you’re walking through the lairs of Disney Villains.
Several Disney California Adventure rides get Halloween overlays, and you can check them out during Oogie Boogie Bash. Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark have all been confirmed to return in 2025.
On top of the specialty rides and Halloween offerings, many California Adventure rides stay open during the event. Disney has yet to release that full list.
Special Offerings
If you’re fine with paying a little extra for a bonus experience, you can either book the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party or the Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour. The dessert party gets reserved seating for the parade, while the VIP tour gets reserved seating as well as expedited entrance to some attractions and event offerings.
And finally, for those attending this event, Disney’s PhotoPass service is included! You’ll be able to download pictures taken by Disney photographers — so make sure to be on the lookout for special photo ops around the park.
That’s a wrap on the list of offerings that have been confirmed so far, but we’ll keep you updated with more news as the event draws nearer. Check out our video below to plan your trip to California Adventure.
