The Haunted Mansion is one of Disney’s most iconic attractions, filled with details and history that we could talk about for hours. One of our favorite parts of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland is its annual switch to The Nightmare Before Christmas version!
The Haunted Mansion Holiday version of the Haunted Mansion takes guests through the mansion with a Jack Skellington twist. We look forward to this every year, and we think we know when the classic version is shutting down to make way for this temporary overlay.
We’re always checking the Disneyland calendar for the quiet details, such as when attractions are opening and closing. According to an update on the Disneyland website, the Haunted Mansion will be closing on August 9th to become Haunted Mansion Holiday.
At Disneyland, Halloween starts on August 22nd, and closing around August 9th gives Disney enough time to make the switch.
There are listed times for Sunday, August 8th, but once August 9th hits, we don’t see any available hours.
You’ll be able to ride Haunted Mansion Holiday from August 22nd, 2025, to January 7th, 2026, so if you were deciding when to travel to the West Coast and celebrate the 70th anniversary along with all the holiday fun, this is a great time to do so.
If you’re looking for more Halloween fun at Disneyland, you can currently grab tickets for the Oogie Boogie Bash, their after-hours Halloween party. The party runs on select nights from August 17th to October 31st and is a great way to meet spooky characters and stock up on candy.
We’re thrilled for Halloween to begin, and we’re excited to share all the best tips and tricks to help you make the most of the season. Make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more!
