Disney giveth, and Disney taketh away. Well, folks, the time has come to say goodbye to two more DinoLand U.S.A. snack spots.
DinoLand at Animal Kingdom is being transformed into the new Tropical Americas-themed Pueblo Esperanza, and ahead of that transformation, Disney has announced that Dino-Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites will permanently close on October 20th, 2025. Here’s what you need to know.
Dino-Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites will close on October 20th, making October 19th your last chance to get Buffalo Chicken Chips or hand-scooped ice cream at these locations — but fear not! You’ll still be able to get some of these iconic snacks elsewhere.
It was previously announced that Restaurantosaurus would be closing on February 1st, but that some of those menu options would be coming to Harambe Market — along with some updates to that spot. Now, Disney has announced that Harambe Market will also close on October 20th. The location is expected to reopen in early 2026.
You’ll be able to find some of your favorite menu items from these spots in other locations, though! Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery will be open for lunch and will serve items like the Harambe Chicken Rice Bowl, a plant-based Picadillo Rice Bowl, and a Harissa Chicken Wrap.
The Buffalo Chicken Chips from Trilo-Bites will move to Eight Spoon Cafe on Discovery Island.
Dole Whip Floats will move to Warung Outpost in Africa, and while you won’t be able to get hand-scooped ice cream again until February, you can still find soft-serve ice cream, sundaes, and floats at Tamu Tamu Refreshments and Anandapur Ice Cream Truck.
While we’re sad about more DinoLand closures, we’re thrilled to still be able to get some of our favorite snacks elsewhere in Animal Kingdom. We’ll be on the lookout for additional updates about this transformation, so make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest news!
