Merry Mashups is back once again at the Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays — let’s check out what’s on the menu this year!
The 2025 Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays has officially kicked off at Disneyland Resort, and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through January 7th, 2026, you can devour some tasty eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat at Merry Mashups booth? Well, we’ve checked it out and now we’re sharing our FULL thoughts.
Menu
This year, you’ll find a new dessert at Merry Mashups along with two new drinks!
Returning for 2025 is the Holiday Mash Bowl filled with chicken, cheddar mashed potatoes, and turkey gravy with cranberry stuffing crunch, and new for this year is a Holiday M&M’S Éclair filled with milk chocolate mousse and topped with whipped ganache and M&M’S Milk Chocolate Minis.
Two new drinks are on the menu this year: a non-boozy Tropical Holiday Punch made with pineapple, orange and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée garnished with a blue raspberry gummy candy, and a boozy Blue Tropical Cocktail made with rum, pineapple, orange and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée garnished with a blue sugar-coated pineapple wheel and a dark rum float.
Rounding out this year’s drinks is the returning Berry Pomegranate Paloma made with tequila, blueberry purée, lime, cranberry and pomegranate juices, and agave syrup, topped with Minute Maid Aguas Fresca and garnished with an orange wheel and a chile-lime rim.
The Berry Pomegranate Paloma was at A Twist on Tradition in 2024!
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the returning Holiday Mash Bowl made with Chicken, cheddar mashed potatoes, and turkey gravy with cranberry stuffing crunch for $9.25. This dish returns to the booth after debuting in 2024. Last year, we found the dish to be a bit salty, but overall, a good holiday season dish! This year, well, it’s easily one of our favorite things we’ve had at the festival. This is Thanksgiving in a bowl, and we are HERE for it. Everything in this bowl is just a good combination. We will warn you that there’s a bit of herbiness to the flavors, if that’s not your thing.
New for dessert this year is the Holiday M&M’S Éclair filled with milk chocolate mousse and topped with whipped ganache and M&M’S Milk Chocolate Minis for $7.75. We hope you like the color green because you’ll be wearing it all over your teeth. The frosting is that nice whipped kind of texture, but yeah, it will stain EVERYTHING it comes into contact with.
The chocolate filling inside is velvety smooth. The eclair itself is soft and fresh. The M&Ms also make for a fun, crunchy topping.
Drinks
Our first drink is the new and non-boozy Tropical Holiday Punch made with pineapple, orange, and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée, garnished with a blue raspberry gummy candy for $9. If you like coconut, you need this in your life. The flavors are sweet and refreshing, but we found the strongest flavor is the coconut, although you also get a hint of the citrus.
Next, we checked out the new Blue Tropical Cocktail made with rum, pineapple, orange, and lemon juices, blue raspberry syrup, and coconut purée, garnished with a blue sugar-coated pineapple wheel and a dark rum float priced at a whopping $18.50! So…this baby is STRONG, and the main flavor is the rum. You’ll want to stir it really well just to try and get some of those other flavors in your sips. Even the garnish, which is fun, is saturated in rum flavor. Someone call Captain Jack Sparrow!
The final drink on the menu is the Berry Pomegranate Paloma, which was on the menu in 2024 at A Twist on Tradition. This year it’s priced at $19.25! It’s made with Tequila, blueberry purée, lime, cranberry and pomegranate juices, and agave syrup topped with Minute Maid Aguas Fresca and garnished with an orange wheel and a chile-lime rim.
(In case you’re curious, that’s $1.25 more than it was last year). In 2024, we found this drink to be fresh and fruity thanks to all the lime, cranberry, and blueberry working together to give it a sweet and tart taste. This year, it seems very tequila-forward and is our least favorite drink at this booth. We will say the Tajin rim is fun, but the tequila just overpowers everything in this drink.
OVERALL
If you’re craving classic Thanksgiving flavors, you’ll want to run to this booth just for the Holiday Mash Bowl, but don’t forget to get that eclair for dessert, although you’ll want to remember the wet wipes! The drinks here are good, but if we had to recommend one out of the three, it would be the non-alcoholic option: it’s cheaper. Granted, you are getting your money’s worth with the amount of alcohol in the other two drinks, so if you want something that packs a punch, visit this booth.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
