When you’re planning to spend New Year’s Eve in Disney World, you’re most likely thinking of spending it in Magic Kingdom or EPCOT.
Those are the parks most known for their late New Year’s Eve experiences to ring in the new year with fireworks, special events, and more. Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’ve seen special events come and go for the holiday, but it’s harder to count on whether there will be something offered to ring in the new year. However, this year we now have confirmation that a special fireworks show will return to Hollywood Studios on New Year’s Eve!
On the Disney World website, Disney currently has New Year Countdown Fireworks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios listed to take place on December 31st at 11:57 PM!
At this time, there hasn’t been an official large announcement about this addition, but we have a feeling one may be coming soon. If you’re an Annual Passholder looking to make a park pass reservation before they run out, we recommend doing so sooner rather than later to ensure you can grab one. This also goes for anyone who has a non-date-based ticket, as park pass reservations are also required for those tickets.
Last year, we also saw additional special offerings hit Hollywood Studios, like the Pixar Dance Party and special live entertainment all night long, including a live DJ, and more. Those haven’t been announced yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
