Disney World is in the process of some BIG changes, and this one has Disney fans happy.

At Magic Kingdom, we are seeing huge transformations. Construction is underway for the new Cars-themed area, Piston Peak, and the new Villains land. Several rides are currently under refurbishment, including Big Thunder Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. UPDATE: Disneyland has confirmed that the Mermaid float in Disney’s Paint the Night Parade experienced a power issue, according to Scott Gustin. While the float was being towed, smoke was seen due to a complication with the brakes. No fire was reported by Disneyland.
On September 10th, there were reports that one of the parade floats at Disneyland was spotted being surrounded by smoke, with reports online saying there was a fire.
Videos on TikTok have been surfacing of The Little Mermaid float having smoke around it and guests being evacuated from the areas.

Guests rely on them to check wait times, book Lightning Lane access, and even place mobile orders for food, making the park experience more convenient than ever. With so much of the day-to-day magic now happening through a screen, it’s no surprise that phone use on rides has become a hot topic among fans. Capturing memories mid-attraction is just one more way guests are integrating technology into their Disney adventures, but not everyone agrees it should be allowed.
Zootopia has been getting a lot of love from Disney recently. Shanghai Disney Resort launched an entire land devoted to the movie in 2023. A brand new Zootopia attraction, Zootopia: Better Zoogether, is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Disney World. PLUS Zootopia 2 will land in theaters later this year.
So what’s next? A stage musical? Well, the answer to that is “yes!” According to an audition notice on Broadway World, Disney is looking for performers for a Zootopia stage musical!

When you’re flying, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of what exactly you need to do during your security screening.
This is especially true now that some long-standing TSA rules are changing, such as not taking off your shoes anymore, but rules still vary from airport to airport. At some airports, you don’t need to take anything out of your bag, including liquids and electronics, while at others, those rules still apply. However, one thing is for sure — you CANNOT travel with this one hair tool, and if you do, you could be fined THOUSANDS of dollars.
