After years of speculation, Disney and Marvel confirmed at this year’s Upfront presentation that the long-awaited VisionQuest series will premiere on Disney+ on October 14th.
Animal Kingdom is in an interesting state right now. Thanks to the construction of the upcoming Tropical Americas land, the park ride count has been temporarily cut, and wait times for its most popular rides have gone up.

However, there’s a way to ensure a perfect ride day at Disney World’s most recently opened theme park in under five minutes, long before stepping through the entrance gates.
May 26th is one of the most anticipated Disney World days in recent memory, with several major openings including the debut of the new Muppets-infused version of the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster and the Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! at Hollywood Studios, the patriotic-themed Soarin’ Across America at EPCOT, the launch of the Cool Kids Summer promotion, and the return of the free water park day perk. That’s right, May 26th will finally see everyone’s favorite Australian Heeler puppy and her family make their Disney World debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. However, there’s something important parents of young kids need to know.
For most of 2026, the Magic Kingdom has felt more like a massive construction zone than it has Disney World’s premier theme park, between the large sites where Piston Peak and Villains Land will thrill guests in a few years and the recently completed refurbishments of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain.

However, even with these projects, there’s still a lot going of exciting things on at Disney World’s first theme park this June that guests should be aware of.

However, we’d argue that there are some unofficial “rules” that guests should break at least once!
For those unaware, the Walt Disney World Swan and Walt Disney World Dolphin are not Disney-owned hotels, despite being located on Walt Disney World property.

However, despite this, the hotels offer some major Disney-level perks, including serving two of the resort’s most iconic snacks. So, it’s safe to say they are seriously a great place to stay during a Disney World vacation!
