In March of 2025, Disney announced two major Disney Dining Plan deals, and with March 2026 upon us, we’re wondering if the company plans to run it back?
First, Disney Visa cardholders had exclusive access to a new limited-time deal that gave them the Disney Dining Plan for free when they booked a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Disney World package, including a room at a select Disney World hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option. The day after the Cardholder deal expired, Disney revealed a new deal which offered guests the Disney Dining Plan for free when they booked a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Disney World vacation package that included a room at select Disney World hotels, as well as theme park tickets with the Disney Park Hopper option.
Outside of perhaps the numerous Harry Potter-themed eateries, dining inside Universal Orlando’s theme parks tends to get the short shrift compared to Walt Disney World dining in the minds of many travelers. However, our recent dining adventure shows that the resort has some hidden gems!
Specifically, we dined at Islands of Adventure’s Confisco Grille. While this opening day eatery doesn’t receive nearly as much attention as its park-mate Mythos, the restaurant provided us with a delicious and somewhat surprisingly upscale dining experience.
2026 is going to be a year of major change at Disney World, as massive construction projects, refurbishments, and closures are reshaping the face of the resort and its rides for years to come.

New missions will be added to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu.
While some of the larger products won’t be open to guests until the calendar turns 2027 — and beyond — there are major changes are coming to the Disney Parks THIS YEAR! [Read more…]
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is no stranger to change — the former Disney-MGM Studios has transformed almost completely since its 1989 opening day, including having its very name changed — and 2026 is no different.
The park is currently in the midst of several massive construction projects, including the March 2nd permanent closure of the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, which is about to be substantially rethemed, with The Muppets replacing “The Bad Boys of Boston.” Now, that’s being reflected on the park’s map!
For many Walt Disney World guests — especially the early birds — rope dropping the Magic Kingdom (AKA arriving at the park in time to enter as soon as it opens, literally as Cast Members drop the entry rope) is a major mission each trip.
Now, the goals of rope dropping are to get into the park as quickly as possible and, in turn, get to some of the busiest attractions at the park before the crowds descend. Which brings us to the mistake that many attempted rope droppers make…
Attention Parents — and anyone else traveling to Disney with young kids — we’ve found some accessories you’re going to NEED!
Specifically, these stroller accessories will make a trip to the park run smoother for you and your little one!
Yes, you DID read that title right. Despite the fact that many may think the words “Disney” and “free” never go together, there are some Disney events that offer “free” food.
Now, a quick caveat since someone will say it: In the context of these events, “free” could also technically be described as “included” as these snacks and food items are part of separate ticketed events that require admission. However, since those events also offer other foods for sale, it’s still fair to refer to the included snacks as “free.”
Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando!
Disney World wait times have a reputation for being, well, unpredictable. Sure, we can look at past data to get an estimate of the crowd levels in Disney World, but you never know what may happen from year to year. So how did Disney’s wait times hold up after the President’s Day week ended? Well, Cosmic Rewind’s average wait fell by 25%, and that was just the start…
Since younger Disney fans often receive the majority of focus, especially online, it can sometimes be somewhat easy to forget that the company and it cross-generation appeal reaches across the age spectrum.
Recently, we reached out to Disney fans in their 40s, 50s, and 60s asked simply, “What’s one Disney trend that you HATE??” Unsurprisingly, our post received a ton of feedback from “older” Disney fans, many of whom weren’t shy about sharing their opinions.
