We’re used to Disney first making major announcements about their latest projects, with most featuring all the bells and whistles of a D23 reveal. However, the company occasionally hints at yet-to-be-confirmed specifics in subtle ways. Whether it be information dropped on their social media channels or details hidden in concept art, we often find ourselves decoding these clues, Swiftie-style.
The new Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom will feature fan-favorite Disney Villains from popular Walt Disney Animation Studios films and two new attractions.
Over my 30+ years of being a Disney Parks fan — and 7+ years writing about them — I’ve seen Disney announce a lot of projects, and I’ve come to learn that every tiny detail released is worth examining, especially when it comes to some of the biggest announcements they’ve made in recent years.

It’s been over 4 decades since Walt Disney World introduced Annual Passes, and yet a major perk of the program is STILL missing from the resort.
Annual Passholder
Walt Disney World first introduced the Annual Pass — then known by the full “Annual Passport” name — ticket options back in September of 1982. These passes — part of the company’s overall transition from general admission tickets and ticket books to “all-in” tickets, which covered park entry and ride access — initially offered a year of entry to the Magic Kingdom and the then-brand-new EPCOT Center for $100 for adults, $93 for juniors (yes, there was a “pre-teen” category for tickets back then), and $80 for children (3-11). Suffice to say, over the years, prices have gone up, but so have the number of perks available to APs. However, one popular benefit available at the Disneyland Resort has yet to make it over to the East Coast in the 30+ years I’ve been visiting “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”

When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options, and we’ve got a ton of reviews. However, recently we ventured across the pond to Disneyland Paris.
Walt’s – an American Restaurant
While at Disney’s only European resort, we dined at Walt’s – an American Restaurant, which is located right on Main Street, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review.
The Holidays are almost here, and Disney World’s uber-popular Cake Bake Shop Restaurant has confirmed the return of its annual “Dinner With Santa” events. That’s right, people. SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN’ TO TOWN!

Scheduled for November 18th, November 25th, December 2nd, and December 9th, the event offers a festive evening filled with sparkling cocktails and Champagne, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, and a gift to take home, as well as the main event: a family photo and visit with Santa!
Scholastic and Disney are teaming up to give away a Disney World vacation, and you still have time to enter.

The “Scholastic Stories are Magic Sweepstakes” will offer one lucky educator and one lucky parent or guardian the opportunity to win a Disney World vacation for themselves and up to three guests. The highest tier of Disneyland’s Lightning Lane, the Premier Pass, is intended to guarantee one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane attraction in both parks. When it comes to the Disneyland Resort, the mega-expensive offering is best for guests visiting the “Happiest Place on Earth” for the first — and possibly only — time, as it essentially guarantees (operation permitting) rides on the most in-demand attractions at both Disneyland and California Adventure. It’s likely not nearly as necessary for Southern California locals, or others who have visited the resort multiple times in the past and plan to continue doing so in the future.
Mission Breakout!
Back to the “one-time entry” part of Premier Pass, though, while that holds mostly true across the board, there’s a hack that allows TWO rides: Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. However, there is a seasonal catch!
