Why was this not a thing before?? After the Matterhorn Macaroon Donut I figured the “Dole Whip Donut” wouldn’t be far behind, but it’s taken a while. Still, happy to say…it’s finally here at the Disneyland Donut Cart!

We’re always on the look out for new sweet treats in the Walt Disney World parks — and this time, we’ve found two tasty winners in the Magic Kingdom! The best part is, if you’re a long-time Disney fan or Disney WORLD fan, these might even pull at your heartstrings a little bit!
First up, Pinocchio Village Haus is putting the sweet in sweet treat with Italian Cream Cake.

We’ve just heard that Sweet Spells will be closing permanently later this month to make way for a Pixar merchandise location.

Sweet Spells in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Sweet Spells has served traditional Disney park snacks such as Mickey-shaped Krispy Treats, Cake Pops, Fudge, and more over the years. It’s one of the spots where you can see specialty Caramel Apples being decorated, and it added a line of Whoopie Pies unique to the location a couple of years ago.

The Mobile Order service launched last May in several Counter Service locations around Walt Disney World, and grabbing a quick bite in the parks hasn’t been the same since!
Mobile Order Pickup at Casey’s Corner
Offered within the My Disney Experience app, Mobile Order allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food at participating Counter Service Restaurants around Disney World. Upon arrival to the restaurant, guests using Mobile Order can then bypass the ordering queue and go straight to a designated Pick Up Counter to get their food.
Last month, we told you about the non-alcoholic specialty drinks that are available with the 2018 Disney Dining Plan — a post that will keep evolving as we learn more about what does and does not count as a beverage on the DDP. Specialty drinks include such tasty gems as Artisanal Milkshakes and Fresh Smoothies!

kicks off in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on April 13th, and the Aliens from Toy Story are taking over Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port for the duration of the festival!

That’s right! Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port in Tomorrowland will be transformed into Alien Pizza Planet — “A Better Place”!
The specialty of the house — just like on their home planet of Pepperonia — will be a pepperoni pizza topped with green peppers and mushrooms. Other options will include Cheeseburger Pizza topped with ketchup, yellow mustard and pizza sauce on a sesame seed crust and further topped with cheese, caramelized onions, diced tomatoes, slider patties, a house-made burger sauce, and pickles.
