You know how some people say “If you don’t like the weather, wait a few minutes”? We feel like the Magic Kingdom is on a race to out-pace Mother Nature when it comes to making changes. Because even though we just brought you What’s New from the Magic Kingdom a few days ago, we have more to add!
First we’re moseying over to Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe where there are a couple of big menu changes to note. First, the Southwest Angus Burger is off the menu — following in the footsteps of the Taco Burger, which disappeared from the menu last month! The heat of summer in central Florida is quickly approaching (believe it or not!), and we’ve found an icy drink in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom that is guaranteed to give you the chills. The Desert Pear Lemonade Slushy is sweet, tart, and totally refreshing. And you’ll find it at Golden Oak Outpost, current home of Chicken Nuggets and former home of Sweet Potato Nuggets!
St. Patrick’s Day

If you’re starting your Disney World day with a stop at the Intermission Food Court at All Star Music Resort, you might want to check out the new All-Star Chart Topper Breakfast Sandwich. It takes everything (and I do mean just about everything) you might possibly want for breakfast, and smooshes it all into one big ol’ breakfast sandwich!
I spy bacon, eggs, cheese, gravy, sausage links, potato barrels (tater tots), and some other sort of fried goodness, all tucked in between an English Muffin. Basically, it’s like the Kitchen Sink of Breakfast Sandwiches.
Super excited to share some breaking news with you about Pixar Pier in Disneyland Resort’s Disney California Adventure park. (Don’t forget that Pixar Pier officially opens on June 23rd!)
We’ve got the scoop on some brand new eats for Pixar Fest as well as some upcoming Pixar Pier dining locations that will be permanent residents of the new Pixar Pier! Ready? Here we go!! (Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to see the new Pixar Pier dining spots!)
For ages, the Mint Julep at Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square has been something of a cult classic.
That said, even as a classic, it’s been through some changes. Just last summer, the classic bright green, uber minty version received a makeover into what it is now: a lemon-lime refresher with a more subtle mint flavor.
Now, you may be thinking: “Okay, fine. What does this have to do with Disney World, which is what I read about in the title?”
Well, let me tell you: Disney World’s Magic Kingdom now has its very own Mint Julep at long last, thanks to the arrival of the Mint Julep Lemonade Slushy on the menu at Casey’s Corner!
Casey’s has been one among a myriad of locations in Disney World that have sold the classic Lemonade Slushy for years. But now, Casey’s has stepped it up!
