Tokyo Disney Resort is taking increased health and safety measures to help control the spread of COVID-19.

Following the curfew regulations implemented by the Japanese government, Tokyo Disney reduced its operating hours in January. Since the initial decision, extensions have been made to the reduced hours, previously through July 11th. And now, the dates for reduced hours have been further extended.
As the global pandemic continues in Japan, health and safety measures are in place to help control the spread of COVID-19.

Coinciding with the extension of these regulations, Tokyo Disney Resort has announced an extension of its own health and safety measures.

Right now all of Disney’s theme parks around the world have reopened, except for Disneyland Paris, which remains closed at this time. While Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are open, things will soon be changing a little bit there in response to some COVID-19 measures.
Tokyo Disneysea is undergoing a HUGE change right now, with a brand new port, Fantasy Springs!

Set to open in 2023, this largest-ever port will have THREE new areas, each dedicated to a fan-favorite film: Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan!

A Toy Story-themed hotel was on the way! The hotel, scheduled to open sometime in the fiscal year 2021, would transport guests to Andy’s bedroom for some toy-sized fun. Sounds pretty cool, right?! And now, Disney’s clued us in on another important detail: the hotel’s NAME!
Over the past year, we’ve seen a LOT of changes at Disney Parks.

Most of those changes were due to new health and safety guidelines and were implemented at Disney Parks worldwide, including a Park Pass Reservation requirement, a facial covering requirement for guests over two years of age, new social distancing protocols, and more.
