Hey, DFB friends! We’re back with another DFB Video and today we’re talking about 7 Disney changes we can’t believe took this long!
Disney is going through a lot of change with new restaurants and attractions popping up left and right.
WE DO! With the new year quickly approaching, we keep hearing the date “January 17th” EVERYWHERE.
This is because January 17th is the day that Rise of the Resistance comes to Disneyland and Festival of the Arts kicks off in Disney World! OH…PLUS LOTS MORE!
The wait is finally over. No, we aren’t talking about a new episode or a new series added to Disney+.
When Disney+ launched, dozens of characters were available to choose from as your profile icon. These ranged from classic animated villains to Pixar to Marvel. Now, with the massive success of The Mandalorian, the true breakout star has joined the ranks of profile icon fame.
Can you believe that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is almost here?!
The latest installment of the Star Wars Skywalker Saga will be hitting the big screen on December 20th, and Disney is going all out with the celebration. From The Rise of Skywalker merchandise to themed cupcakes popping up in the parks, Disney is getting ready for the latest debut in the series. But, if you can’t make it to a Disney park to celebrate the Star Wars milestone, don’t despair! There’s a more local Disney spot you might be able to visit to commemorate the big day!
Big Top Souvenirs and Pete’s Silly Sideshow, located in the heart of the Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Circus in Walt Disney World, were closed today!
And we’re not really sure when they’ll open again.
Several Disney World Cast Members were on hand and at the ready to help with the unexpected shutdown, and we were able to ask them a few questions about the situation.
There’s been A LOT of Epcot news to digest lately (along with all that delicious Festival of the Holidays food we’ve been feasting on!).
Last week we got to EXPERIENCE the coming soon Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, and we also got more details on the upcoming Canada Far and Wide, Awesome Planet and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attractions! And now, to the cheers of coffee-lovers everywhere, it seems like that new potential Starbucks location is progressing VERY quickly.
Sure we’re still a couple weeks away from Christmas and we’re all knee deep (some of us literally) in the holidays and winter weather — but we’re already thinking about springtime and the 2020 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival!
In addition to the gorgeous flowers and topiaries — and of course all the fresh eats at the Outdoor Kitchens — one of the highlights of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is the nightly Garden Rocks Concert Series!
And while the full lineup of performers hasn’t been announced just yet, we DO know of two bands that looks like they’ll be returning to the stage again this year!
We often have visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads, but strangely they’ve been resembling Sprinkles cupcakes more and more lately! We don’t know why, but they just do!
Ok, maybe we do know why! Their cupcakes are SERIOUSLY good! We could daydream about them all day!

Then you’re going to want to find out how to apply for the new Disney quiz show coming soon to the Disney Channel!
Happy (early) National Cupcake Day, everybody!
And while National Cupcake Day doesn’t officially start until December 15th, Sprinkles has just released details about how it will be observing this delicious holiday!
