Epic Universe consists of five themed lands: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. Theme park fans have been waiting for this day for years. We’ve been right there with you — poring over every piece of concept art, analyzing every press release, and daydreaming about new rides. And at long last, the time has come. We went INSIDE Universal’s brand-new theme park in Orlando, Epic Universe. We stepped through the portals and dared to go on the biggest, wildest, most innovative new attractions in Orlando. And now? We’re sharing it ALL.

Alright. Here’s the lowdown. Universal Orlando Resort’s Epic Universe officially opens on May 22nd, 2025. This park has been heralded as Universal’s “most ambitious theme park yet,” with theme park immersion and innovation we’ve never seen. There are over 50 new attractions. There are new restaurants. New gift shops. New shows. New stories! There’s a lot (like, a lot) to see and do, but we’re taking you along for the ride.
We are getting closer and closer to the opening of Epic Universe! Universal’s brand-new theme park opens in just 67 days — not that we are counting or anything. Who are we kidding? We are definitely counting down the days.
Epic Universe Model
Along with the brand-new theme park, there are also three brand-new hotels to support Epic Universe. Universal Terra Luna Resort opens on March 25th, and Universal Helios Grand Hotel opens on May 22nd. The first hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort, opened on January 21st, and we are sharing some of our takeaways from our stay!

Isle of Berk
If you’ve been following along with all the latest updates on Epic Universe, the brand new park coming to Universal Orlando, then you know how amazing the How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk area looks, but what if we told you it’s about to become even cooler?
One of the nation’s most successful budget airlines is adding yet another route to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Orlando International Airport
Breeze Airways is adding direct service between Orlando Airport and Key West, Florida. The service, which launches on June 12th, is going to be the only direct route between the two locations after fellow airline Silver Airways unexpectedly eliminated their service between Orlando Airport and Key West in March. Allegiant Air also offers a flight to Key West out of Orlando Sanford International Airport.
We’re only a few months away from the grand opening of Universal Orlando’s third theme park, Epic Universe.

Epic Universe will bring five NEW themed lands to the resort, with a ton of new rides, restaurants, entertainment, and more. We can’t WAIT. Universal Studios is building a brand-new theme park in Frisco, Texas and we just got a major update!

The Universal Kids Resort is a first-of-its-kind theme park designed for families of young kids, and it will feature lands themed around some iconic kids’ franchises including Shrek, Puss in Boots, Trolls, Gabby’s Dollhouse, SpongeBob SquarePants, Minions, and Jurassic World.
