What I’m about to say might be shocking, but it’s the truth. I went to a theme park food festival, and it wasn’t at EPCOT.

I grew up going to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and while I haven’t spent much time in the park over the past few years, I recently got the chance to check out Busch Gardens Christmas Town — a holiday festival featuring food and entertainment, plus tons of rides and animals. So, how does it compare to an EPCOT festival?

The Orlando Sentinel reported that Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced plans to spend about $40 million on new theme park projects and expand Adventure Island water park.

The storm is currently passing through the Gulf of Mexico as a Category 4 storm — after holding as a Category 5 for most of Monday. A significant portion of the state is under a hurricane warning with many major theme parks expected to close ahead of the storm — which now includes SeaWorld Orlando.

We’ve been keeping an eye on the storm, which is currently churning through the Gulf of Mexico as a Category 4 storm — after holding as a Category 5 for most of Monday. Much of the state is under a hurricane warning with many expecting major theme parks to close in preparation for the storm — including Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
We’ve been following along closely with the Central Florida theme parks during Hurricane Ian.

Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld all ceased operations temporarily due to the storm, with closures on Wednesday and Thursday. Now, the first resort from that group has extended its closure.
It’s no secret that Disney World has gotten increasingly more expensive over the years.
