We can’t (and won’t) stop eating all of the new Halloween treats that have magically appeared at Disney World. From exclusive snacks at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to special treats at the resort, if it’s got a Mickey pumpkin on it or a ghost, we’re trying it.

We headed to Disney Springs to try six treats to see if there are any tricks. These limited-time desserts are going to make you head straight to the Lime Parking Garage and dive in.

Most people celebrate this little holiday by wearing something green to work and maybe grabbing a green beer. But, not Disney! Green has taken over the food scene! So far we’ve tried green margaritas, green donuts, and green coffee — and that’s just today! Next up our tour of St. Patty’s Day treats is taking us over to Disney Springs!

Disney resorts often have incredible — and overlooked — eats. We’ve recently loved a seasonal cocktail from Disney’s Riviera Resort, some chips at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Super Bowl cupcakes at BoardWalk Bakery. And today, we spotted some pastry puffs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort that we just have to tell you about!
The sun is shining, it’s a beautiful day and we’re hanging out on the West Coast for day one of the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival in Disneyland Resort! Woohoo! The festival officially started up today and will run through April 21st.

But enough about the logistics, let’s talk about that festival FUN! Now, of course, the fest comes with all sorts of special events, seminars, and more; but we’re focusing on the food (shocker, we know). There are 16 Festival Marketplaces at this year’s festival and each one serves up a twist on California-inspired cuisine!

And Disney World has been showing us how much they love us with all the new sweet snacks they’ve been cranking out for the holiday. We don’t mind, we’ll happily dig into a wild Valentine’s Day Cupcake at Animal Kingdom or the Bella Notte Petit Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie. And just before the big day gets here, they put out another sweet treat we had to try.
We might be halfway through Spooktober, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all the terrifying treats in Disney World!

Mystery has surrounded the creation of the Beauty and the Beast-themed Be Our Guest Restaurant — Disney’s newest dining location — since we first saw the Be Our Guest Restaurant concept art!
From the announcement that beer and wine would be served for the first time at a Magic Kingdom restaurant to our most recent Be Our Guest guest review, we’ve explored the Beast’s domain from afar.

Well, not anymore. I finally was able to dine at the Be Our Guest Restaurant in the New Fantasyland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom! And over the course of several meals I (and my various dining companions) ordered everything on the menu. (Well, the adult menu anyway.) I know how important it is to know what you’re getting when you’re planning your dining in Disney World, and I wanted to be thorough with this one for you guys.
After months (and months) of speculation about the decor and menu, stepping inside Be Our Guest Restaurant was truly exciting.

After dining there several times this weekend, I’m anxious to bring to you my take on the food, beverages, and decor. So, let’s get started…
Guests begin their experience by checking in at the Bridge entrance — a bit like a Gatekeeper’s area. This is where you make your requests for a dining room if you’d like — the Ballroom or West Wing (the Rose Gallery is usually used only for lunch, though some overflow tables are seated there during dinner currently).
Once you’re checked in, you’ll be given a pager and asked to wait on the bridge. Once your page goes off, head toward the large restaurant entrance to be greeted by the Beast’s servant who will take you to your table!

Once you’re inside the castle, be sure to peek into the Beast’s Study. It’s the room where lunch guests make their orders, and is located right through the hallway where the Knights are all whispering to one another!

Be Our Guest Restaurant will soft-open on November 19 (with an official debut on December 6) in the Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland. And today, we’ve got a food photo preview of the kids’ menu, featuring grown up tastes in kid friendly flavors!
Delicious options are plenty, although the Disney chefs have not included kid-favorite chicken nuggets or pizza. Rest assured, the entrees will be appealing to kids while allowing them to dine like grown-ups.
The sneaky chefs are doing their best to make sure your kiddos eat healthy while they’re in the park: “We’re making the ketchup from scratch using carrots,” said Walt Disney World Executive Chef Lenny DeGeorge. “And the meatloaf also has vegetables and bulghur wheat, so kids are getting their vegetables and whole grains and don’t even realize it.”

A carved turkey sandwich is served on multi-grain bread with sweet potato wedges and peach applesauce. Even without fries, this dish is sure to be a kid-pleaser!

Every once in a while, a dining spot comes along that screams indulgence! And when you are traveling around the World in the space of a few hours at Epcot, it is imperative that you sample some of the World’s best treats.
Desserts in Epcot’s France Pavilion fall into this category perfectly. You simply must try something here. 😉 So off we go to savor the decadence that is the Boulangerie Patisserie!

When you head into the bakery, you’re overloaded with rows of pastries and sandwiches. We somehow managed to keep our selections to only three this day, starting with the luscious Cream Puff.
Come on. Look at this thing. Only people in commercials and books get to eat stuff like this, right? So you HAVE to try it!
This version starts with a lovely pate a choux, the fresh, rich-tender pastry that serves as a vehicle for all of that beautiful filling.

Speaking of the filling, it was wonderfully light and fluffy, and so much more than plain ol’ “whipped cream” in texture, flavor, and general “ooh la la-ness” (yes, that is now a thing). I don’t know if they use a European cream with a higher fat content, or if it’s just French magic, but this is fantastic.
Eat it slowly (you know…if you’re blessedly alone and your kids aren’t clamoring for a swipe of that filling!), and savor every delicious bite. 🙂
