Greetings from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The final two theme parks have officially reopened today which means all four Disney World parks are now open.

We’ll be providing you with live coverage of Disney’s Hollywood Studios throughout the day, but right now we want to take a moment to show you what the crowds look like!
Walt Disney World officially reopened all four of its theme parks to the general public in July. Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom began welcoming guests back after an unprecedented nearly four-month closure on July 11, while EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios officially reopened their gates to guests on July 15th.

We’ve been on the ground in the parks ever since, including experiencing both cast member previews and Annual Passholder previews, which served as an opportunity for Disney to test their new health and safety protocols on groups that would more closely approximate a public crowd.
As Disney reopens in the midst of the global health crisis, our focus has been on helping you understand what to expect when you get to the newly reopened parks, as well as how to navigate Disney’s new planning systems and procedures — from the new Disney Park Pass reservation system to big changes to Disney’s hotel, park ticket, and dining reservation processes.
But, the one question everyone still has about Disney World right now is: Is it safe and should I go? We’ve got a broad perspective on this for you — with lots of quotes and specific, firsthand reporting. But we’ve also got an anecdotal perspective on this from our time in the parks and Disney Springs. I was shocked…by my own behavior. And that’s what I think is the most important part of this article for you to read. So hopefully these two sides of the coin will help you as you’re making this very important decision for yourself.

All of these potential health measures and capacity cuts mean that Disney could be in a tough position — losing money to be able to make it again. Prior to the reopening announcement, we explored the financial impacts of opening the theme parks versus keeping them closed. With the parks officially reopening, some analysts are noting what Disney will need to do to make money again.

World of Disney
The first place we wanted to head yesterday was World of Disney so we could get our long-overdue Disney merch fix. But we weren’t the only ones! The line to get into World of Disney yesterday was absolutely CRAZY — they even used a virtual queue! But today, it seems like crowds are a little more manageable today.
Now that Disney World has announced it plans on reopening Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11th along with Epcot and Hollywood Studios on July 15th, we also know some of the modifications the parks are planning on implementing.

According to Disney’s reopening proposal which took place this morning, Disney World’s theme parks will temporarily suspend its parades, fireworks displays, or character meet-and-greets upon reopening.
With Disney World closed until further notice, lots of guests are now replanning their vacations for the coming months. And we don’t blame them, we want to get back into the parks ASAP too!
