What if there were secret MAPS to help you escape Disney World crowds?!
The parks can get seriously crowded, especially during holidays, school breaks, or the summertime. And during those days, we often find ourselves looking for shortcuts to avoid those packed main walkways. Today, we’re sharing some helpful maps that will guide you to the best secret pathways to avoid crowds!
We’re just hours away from the start of the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts and we can’t WAIT to check out all this event has to offer.
This year’s festival begins on January 17th and runs through February 24th, 2025, and we’ve already seen a sneak peek at the new and returning eats available at the food booths. If you’re heading to the Festival of the Arts this year, we’ve got a NEW map that shows what EPCOT will look like during the event that will help you find ALLLLLLL the foods you want to try.
There’s no way of putting this gently: Disney World is going to be a bit of a mess this year and probably next year, too.
That’s because a TON of new construction projects are happening in three out of Disney World’s four parks, meaning you’re going to see construction walls and detours EVERYWHERE (it’s like the EPCOT transformation times three). Magic Kingdom is getting an expansion AND a new land. Hollywood Studios is getting a new land. Animal Kingdom will also be getting a new land, resulting in construction walls and closures. Well, we’ve now got some maps to give you an idea of what Animal Kingdom will look like over the next few years.
Picture this: you’re visiting Magic Kingdom in Disney World and you’re trying to get through big crowds just to make it in time for your advance dining reservation or next Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection.
You could just take your chances and carefully make your way around all those people and take the long way around. OR…you can take a shortcut. Wait…you might ask, are there actually shortcuts IN Magic Kingdom? Well, the answer is YES! And we’re going to share some of our favorite Magic Kingdom shortcuts — with maps — because we want you to be able to navigate Magic Kingdom like a pro.
Magic Kingdom is about to go through some serious changes.
To start off, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closed for at least a year for an update. Tom Sawyer Island and Rivers of America are also about to be completely reimagined into a new Cars expansion in Frontierland. But wait…there’s more! That’s because a new Villains-themed land is coming to the area behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Magic Kingdom is even getting a new nighttime parade! In the meantime, let’s just say Magic Kingdom is going to look VERY different over the next few years.
We CAN’T go to Disney World and not buy souvenirs but collecting all those mugs, ears, popcorn buckets, and other items can get kinda pricey!
So, let’s say you’re on a limited budget and you need to know about inexpensive — or even free — souvenirs! Or maybe you’ve got an unlimited budget and the sky’s the limit! We’ve put together a list that should satisfy EVERY budget, so you can have some cool souvenirs to bring home from you on your trip regardless of how much you have to spend. Let’s get started!
Technology can be your best friend while trying to navigate the Disney World theme parks.
The My Disney Experience app lets you check out wait times, see ride closures, see showtimes, make dining reservations, and mobile order! And while the app does have a map of the parks, sometimes you just need a paper map in your hands! There’s good news for those of you who love having an actual map, because the map of Magic Kingdom has just been updated!
There have been a LOT of changes at Disney World recently!

Tree of Life
We’ve seen temperature checks get suspended, we’ve watched mask guidelines change, and we’ve even seen some updates to social distancing. AND some entertainment has returned to the parks!
With social distancing and other safety measures in place right now throughout Disney World, navigating the parks can be quite the challenge.
Some stores, restaurants, and other areas now have certain doors designated as entrances or exits (which might be different than how you’re used to seeing things). You may find that certain doors are blocked off or unavailable. And some ride lines may stretch FAR away from their designated ride entrance, making it difficult sometimes to know where the line starts and what a line is even for.
We’re in the parks every single day and we know just how frustrating all of this can become. That’s why we developed some totally FREE resources to help you navigate all 4 Disney World theme parks. We’ve shared them all individually before but now we’re linking to them all in one place to make it super easy for you!
