If you’re obsessed with Hollywood Studios like us, especially the original version, which focused on being an animation studio, we have big, big news for you.
In the midst of Disney releasing their newest live-action film, Lilo & Stitch, as well as Pixar getting ready to release Elio into theaters soon, a lot is going on in the world of Disney movies right now.

However, there’s even MORE going on in the world of development right now! At the recent 2025 Annecy Animation Festival, details about Frozen 3 AND Frozen 4 were just revealed that you’ve gotta hear.

The highly anticipated sequel to Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 2016 hit Moana has been near the top of my most anticipated 2024 movies list for quite some time. Despite the stiff competition it will face at the box office this weekend, especially from Wicked, it’s safe to say many agree with me and will flock to theaters to go on another adventure with Moana. Reviews are starting to roll in and they’ve been mostly positive, but it hasn’t been all smooth sailing for Moana 2. The actor’s strike finally came to an end late last week.

After 118 days, SAG-AFTRA finally struck a deal with Hollywood. But now the question becomes, what kind of impacts did this long-running labor outage have on the film industry? According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, in an interview with CNBC before the company’s Q4 earnings call, the damage to the company has been negligible up to this point. But now we’re starting to see some changes coming from the Disney studios due to this recent strike.

In the parks, you’ll find Disney100 decorations in the stores and at the entrances. You can find special merchandise collections at the parks and online. We’ve even seen some Disney World rides change for the celebration. But if you haven’t been to the parks, Disney is now giving you a way to enjoy the celebration right from your couch.

Encanto Topiaries
While you can celebrate your love for Encanto with unique merchandise, a visit to EPCOT (where there are Encanto topiaries at the Flower & Garden Festival), and more. Last year, we saw the Encanto sing-along concert event come to cities around the country and we’re excited to share that it’s coming back, and it could be coming to YOU!
