Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has reopened! This spot at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort serves up whimsical cocktails and is full of the same classic hijinks as Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel!
Today, the Polynesian officially reopened to guests with a special Dole Whip, surprise reopenings (with loooong virtual wait times), and we got a first look in person of the Moana-themed rooms! While at the reopening of Trader Sam’s today, we found some super fun drinks that you’ll want to know about!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has officially reopened! With a new entrance, a new (but still not open) Monorail station, and new Moana-themed rooms, there’s a lot of new things to check out around the resort!
However, there are also plenty of old classics at the Polynesian that we’ve been missing lately! Today, we spotted the reopening of yet another Polynesian spot!
Disney’s PhotoPass is a great way to take all sorts of fun pics! From character photos to fun Magic Shots, there are tons of ways to commemorate your Disney trip!

Now, Disney’s PhotoPass Studio has another virtual background for you to try out at Disney Springs!
The Wave…of American Flavors is a restaurant located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort near Magic Kingdom. This spot usually serves up fresh, market-inspired meals all day long.
We’ve enjoyed breakfast here in the past, however the restaurant is currently under refurbishment. In the meantime, you’ll find The Wave’s breakfast up at the California Grill on the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort! We wanted to check out how the dining experience had changed by moving the same meal to a completely different restaurant, so let’s check it out!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is set to reopen VERY soon after a lengthy refurbishment!
During construction, the main entrance, Monorail station, and rooms were completely revamped and rethemed to be centered around Disney’s Moana. Although these are some major changes, we noticed a smaller change that you’ll want to be aware of if you’re snacking around the resort!
There are a TON of reopenings happening right now in Disney World, with more resorts and restaurants starting to welcome back guests!
Today, we’ve got yet another reopening to report and it’s a big one. The EPCOT Monorail line is back!
Cast Members at Disney work very hard to give all of us the best experience! From rides to restaurants to shows, Disney parks rely on their Cast Members to make the magic happen!
This week, Disneyland is celebrating its Cast Members with all sorts of festivities, including the return of a classic Disney tradition!
Restaurant Marrakesh, tucked away in the Morocco Pavilion of EPCOT, is usually serving up delicious Moroccan eats!
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is currently happening, but a few restaurants (including Restaurant Marrakesh) are still closed in the park. However, this restaurant is serving a different purpose for the time being!
Today is Disneyland’s 66th Anniversary, which means lots of Anniversary festivities! From rubber duck races to exclusive merch, there are so many ways Disneyland is celebrating another year of magic!
We knew that some festivities were coming to Disneyland today for the anniversary including entertainment and treats. We saw the adorably dressed caramel apple yesterday (seriously, it’s the cutest apple we’ve ever seen), and now, we another treat with Disneyland is celebrating 66 years!
