British actor Tom Wilkinson has passed away.

The Oscar-nominated actor was known for roles in The Full Monty, Michael Clayton, and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. He was 75.

Earlier this year, Disney shared that an all-new series would debut on Disney+ in December — Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Yep, this series is a re-telling of the novels by Rick Riordan, who has been working on the project since 2020. It’s safe to say that our middle and high school selves have been thriving as we look forward to the release date. Speaking of release date… that day is TODAY.
Have you heard of “Roku City”? It’s the screensaver that pops up on Roku TVs if you let the television idle for long enough. It’s oddly addicting to watch the buildings roll by (especially since there are lots of hidden Easter eggs for popular movies and shows sprinkled in!), and now there’s a NEW addition to the city!

Roku began teasing a collaboration with Disney on the Roku city screen over the weekend. A section of the city was updated to show a construction fence that said “Pardon our Pixie Dust” — just like you see sometimes in the Disney parks when Imagineers are updating or building new attractions. Now, the new Disney addition has been revealed!
We all probably have lots of ideas for what we think should be Disney’s next big project.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
With news that Disney plans to spend $60 billion on expansions and park additions, we’ve most likely all begun dreaming up what we think are good ideas. Now that Disney has given us entire immersive lands like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, World of Frozen, and Pandora, we have high hopes for what’s to come. It appears we aren’t the only ones dreaming of what’s to come. The three main cast members from Percy Jackson and the Olympians seem to have some thoughts of their own for Disney.

The streaming service has been a hot topic with Disney executives and investors, so it makes sense that we’re seeing so many changes as Disney pushes to make it profitable by the end of next year. Sure, we’ve got the new Echo series to look forward to, as well as season 2 of What If…? But there will be ANOTHER new Marvel series coming up soon — and we are READY!
