We’re all about saving money on a Disney World vacation!
We’re constantly searching for new discounts on rooms, merchandise, food, and gift cards to fund our expeditions. But you know what we really love? A SURPRISE discount!
We’ve reviewed lots of good lounges around Disney World lately, but we’re not sure that any of them will be able to compare to THIS meal!
Disney’s really thrown us curveballs lately with their new fast food bread service and snacks better than grandma made them, but when we heard that a beloved menu item was returning to Crew’s Cup Lounge, we HAD to go out and see if it was just as good as it once was! [Read more…]
Choo choo! Who doesn’t love a relaxing ride around Magic Kingdom on the good old Walt Disney World Railroad?
A lot has changed since the first steam engines were invented. These days, travelers can zip from place to place in the blink of an eye, thanks to high-speed bullet trains all over the world. It’s pretty incredible if you stop and think about it. We’ve come a long way! Speaking of coming a long way, have you ever traveled in a bullet train? After reading this news, you might be tempted!
According to The Walt Disney Company, the future is bright. Disney plans to invest a LOT into the Parks, Experiences, and Products division over the next decade (though by the time the proposed MEGA Magic Kingdom expansion is set to begin, CEO Bob Iger will no longer be in charge). Fans are hungry for new additions and large-scale expansions, but they may have to be patient.
Disney is talking a big game. We’re expecting a TON of (expensive-sounding) changes, like a new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge, an Animal Kingdom overhaul, a Test Track ride update, and a Magic Kingdom expansion rivaling the scale of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge addition in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But before we all get too excited, it’s worth noting that Bob Iger has a different priority, at least for now.
One of the many amenities of staying at a Disney World hotel is having access to the phenomenal team of housekeepers!Â
Whether you’re the type of person who doesn’t want to worry about keeping your room in a livable state while on vacation, and want to reap every benefit of housekeeping while at Disney World, OR you’re the type to want to keep people out of your hotel room at all costs, there are a few important things you need to know about housekeeping at Disney World hotels.Â
Quick! Go stand next to a fan — things are going to get heated. We’re asking a question long-debated among Disney World fans, and it could spark some intense debate.
Buckle up, we’re asking our readers: Which is the BEST method of transportation in Disney World? Do you prefer the new but lighting-averse Skyliner? Are you team ol’ reliable, a.k.a. the bus? Maybe you like the wind in your hair as you sail on a boat? Or maybe you’re a purist, and you love the iconic Disney World monorail? OK, it’s time to see which Disney transportation method comes out on top.
You might not think that it’s possible to include the words “Disney World” and “ghost town” in the same sentence unless you’re talking about an epic idea for a Frontierland-style Haunted Mansion attraction. But the truth is, there are quite a few places in Disney World that are totally empty and abandoned.
Sure, you may have heard about the old Discovery Island or River Country locations that no longer exist, but this time, we’re talking about a spot in Magic Kingdom that you probably walk past all the time.
There’s a reason refillable mugs are popular in Disney World.
For the flat price of $21.99, you can get a mug that you can endlessly fill with soft drinks, tea, soda, and more — and if you drink a lot of any of those beverages, you can end up saving money. They also make a useful souvenir that you can take home with you. Their designs also change, making them perfect for collectors. Well, get ready because refillable mugs just got a NEW makeover.
It’s the question our Disney novice neighbors, relatives, and friends ask us all the time. “When is the best time to go to Disney World?” Of course, what they really mean is, “When should I go to Disney World to avoid as many other humans as possible,” because really, no one likes to wait in lines or stand in the middle of a big crowd.
We’ve been tracking the Disney World crowd levels since crowd levels became a thing. (Remember when you could go to Disney World and NOT deal with insane crowds and 120-minute wait times?) Well, those days are long gone, and it seems like the crowds aren’t going anywhere any time soon. So, let’s talk about the ten weeks we’re predicting LOW crowds in Disney World in 2024.
We have been keeping a close watch on the new Zootopia land coming to Shanghai Disney soon.
Zootopia opens for all guests on December 20th at Shanghai Disney Resort. We’re so excited to be fully immersed in this new animal-themed area. Disney recently shared a sneak peek at what we can expect when we visit. Now we have an even closer look behind the scenes.
