We love the rides!
When you enter the rides, you’ll be presented with a big, long list of rules pertaining to the safety of yourself and others throughout the experience. While a lot of them don’t require a whole lot of thinking to figure out WHY the rules are in place, there are other rules that might seem nit-picky or a bit strange. Other, more technical rules might not even be listed at all, but Cast Members are looking out at all times to ensure that folks are being safe. Â This post is dedicated to some of those!

While there are no wrong answers, many Disney World visitors believe that staying on-property can be a crucial part of the Disney World experience. When choosing whether or not to stay on-property, or choosing WHICH Disney World hotel is best, many who are planning trips tend to allow rumors they heard through the grapevine affect their choice. Not on our watch!Â
Rope dropping, or arriving to the rides and attractions right when they open for the day, is a great way to experience rides and attractions without those ridiculously long waits or the need to purchase a Lightning Lane or Genie+.

We recommend rope dropping rides and attractions to most Disney World visitors if they’re hoping to experience certain attractions without standing in line for hours. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Slinky Dog Dash, and Avatar: Flight of Passage are all rides with somewhat bearable wait times at rope drop — to name a few. We usually say that this isn’t necessary, only recommended, and that you will also experience wait-time drops later in the evening for most popular rides. However, recent events tell us that rope dropping might actually be necessary right now after all. 😳
