All right, folks, it’s time to get a little weird.
Disney World is a magical place but sometimes things can get, well, weird! Whether it was a CEO swaparoo or a bizarrely long line for a popcorn bucket, 2022 was full of weird, strange moments, so let’s go over the weirdest moments of 2022!
OKAY, everyone — it’s time for the Sparknotes version of what all happened in the Disney World parks (and the Disney company, in general) during 2022. (Spoiler alert — it was a LOT.)

But last week was an unusually unlucky week for Disney World, and if you were visiting you might have gotten caught up in it.
There has been a lot of changes happening over at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
Earlier this year, we found out that new things would be coming to the hotel, like new food and decor. We’ve already seen the new BoardWalk Deli open up, and we’ve also seen some things at the BoardWalk close down. And now, we’re finding out MORE about the NEW coffee shop coming to the hotel!
Walt Disney World has had a LOT of changes recently, and more changes are here.
We have seen Genie+ get a price increase and surge pricing, hundreds of price increases put in effect for food at restaurants in the resort, and more. Disney previously announced major changes were coming to theme park tickets in terms of pricing and certain options, and those changes are finally here.
Things are winding down after a busy holiday week in Disney World, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any updates at the parks.

Some BIG changes have been announced for Disney World today. Not only will it cost you more to visit Disney World depending on which park you go to, but a new dining reservation cancellation policy was announced as well.
Now, we have another BIG change to share with you.
We’ve been keeping track of some major changes at Magic Kingdom, including construction on the upcoming TRON: Lightcycle Run roller coaster and the (hopefully soon) return of the Walt Disney World railroad. But there’s a lot more going on in this park than just those big projects.
