Here you’ll find lighted cases full of awesome candies, chocolates, and sweets that are perfect for celebrating your loved ones (or your loved self!). And as part of the Valentine’s celebration at Disneyland Resort, they’ve taken a traditional Candy Palace treat — the peppermint or coconut patty — and given it a lovely twist! in Disneyland Hotel closed to begin a rather lengthy refurbishment in September 2018. Following the closure, Disney announced that the space would reopen in early 2019 as Tangaroa Terrace, Tropical Bar and Grill.
Though an official reopening date has not yet been announced, we have noticed hours listed on the Tangaroa Terrace page on the Disneyland website coming up again for this coming Tuesday, February 5th, from 6:30 AM – 11:00 PM. [Read more…]
Alien Pizza Planet
is getting into the spirit of Get Your Ears On with three specialty items — two winners and a dud. Our Disneyland correspondent (HI!, @DiningInDisney!), give us the a slice of the action.
First up: the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. This is pizza topped with fried chicken breast bits, Buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, fresh carrots and celery, and a creamy Buffalo sauce.
We appreciate the creativity of putting literal fresh veggies on top of the pizza, but looking at it, we’re definitely missing some of the sauces they claim are on it. Maybe some creamy ranch would help?
The recently released book “Star Wars: Pirate’s Price” reveals some really cool info about some of the backstory for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge… including hints about what we could possibly expect from Oga’s Cantina!
