We’ve been getting our walking shoes ready and keeping an eye on what has always appeared to be a walkway connecting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom.

Now we’ve got some official confirmation of what this walkway will be.
Yesterday, Cast Member previews gave us insight into some of the new Walt Disney World construction updates like the reveal of the newly freshened up Cinderella Castle.

We recently saw a curious-looking big blue wall go up in the middle of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. (Spoiler: it was installed to isolate the visiting NBA players from Disney guests.) While taking a ride on the monorail, we noticed progress on a different Grand Floridian construction project we’ve been keeping our eyes on for a while.
In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, Disney World’s parks will not be opening today along with all the rest of the Disney parks across the world.

And while Disney World’s theme parks have been forced to temporarily close in the past before (mostly due to hurricanes), its Hotels have decided to remain open until 5 PM on March 20th, but are cancelling some of their normal operations in the meantime.
We’ve enjoyed sipping on the new Beauty and the Beast-inspired cocktails at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort’s Enchanted Rose Bar and Lounge since it opened a few months back (formerly known as Mizner’s Lounge)!

And now Disney has just revealed they’ll be refurbing another Grand Flo hotspot!

Like a devoted significant other, Walt Disney World has pulled out all the stops this year with magical celebrations and sweets galore, like the heart-shaped whoopie pies and cherry almond cupcakes we spotted recently at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
Our hearts have been fluttering with all the festive and delicious Valentine’s Treats we’ve been finding around Walt Disney World.

Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian has already introduced several items just for the occasion, including the Cherry Almond Cupcake and Heart-Shaped Whoopie Pies, but now we’re back checking out a sweet sip just in time for the day of love!

While taking a stroll through Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort this week, we spotted a returning Holiday cupcake at Gasparilla Island Grill!
As you may already know, we were front and center at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s Gingerbread House this morning!

And although Disney’s Grand Floridian’s Gingerbread House is SUPER magical in and of itself, we were truly enchanted by this special new holiday treat being sold inside its snack shop!
