The summers (and fall, if I’m being honest) can be absolutely brutal with triple-digit temperatures and heat advisories all of the time. To go to Disney World and live life in general, we have to find a way to cope, and here at DFB, we’ve tested tons of cooling items to see which ones are the best!

Let me paint a picture for you. It’s 98°. You’re standing in an outdoor queue for a ride with a 2-hour wait time, desperately trying to inch closer to the fan that’s fifteen feet ahead of you. The Dole Whip you got earlier in the day to cool off melted into a sticky mess as you ate it, and the evidence is on your shirt. Listen, we love Disney World, but in the summer it can be ROUGH. So, sometimes we do some questionable things to survive the heat — but don’t knock ’em til you try ’em!

Summer is here, and things an heat up, especially in Disney World! The Florida heat can be pretty ruthless, which is why we have everything you need to stay cool in the parks, including lists of all of the places you can get free water, and all of the water bottle filling stations in the parks.
