We love a good Target trip!
In fact, many of us here at DisneyFoodBlog find that a trip to Target is necessary for a successful Disney World trip. We don’t want to be caught in the most magical place without the essentials!
If there’s one thing we’ll remind you to do over and over and over again in Disney World…it’s HYDRATE.
During your vacation you’re probably walking a LOT of steps (we’re talking 20K+) and chances are, it’s hot and humid on top of that. It’s important to drink lots of water throughout the day so that you can take care of your body. One great tip is that Disney World’s quick service restaurants hand out free cups of water to guests if you ask — but now, that process has gotten EASIER.
Let’s be real. Disney World can get HOT.
And we don’t mean “Oh, put on a tank top” hot. We mean, you’ll be sweating through that tank top, you’ll want cooling towels and neck fans, and you absolutely MUST stay hydrated for the sake of your health-level of heat. While an ordinary summer day can be quite hot at Disney World, things are going to a whole other level right now.
The one thing about the weather at Disney World is that it’s unpredictable.
We’ve seen hurricanes and heavy rain. We’ve seen weather cold enough to wear a parka in the parks. We’ve also seen extremely hot weather — and that’s something we’ll be preparing for again soon because Disney World is set to see record-high temperatures this week.
It’s HOT in Florida right now.
In fact, Florida recently hit dangerous heat levels, so staying cool and hydrated in Disney World is very important. Sure, you can stick to places with air conditioning or buy one of those misting fans but what about a hands-free cooling option you can take with you?
It’s summertime!
Summer is here, and things an heat up, especially in Disney World! The Florida heat can be pretty ruthless, which is why we have everything you need to stay cool in the parks, including lists of all of the places you can get free water, and all of the water bottle filling stations in the parks. It’s super important to stay hydrated, and if you need a new water bottle to take to the parks, look no further!
We LOVE Disney World…but also, we sometimes HATE Disney World.
Okay, we don’t hate ALL of Disney World, but like any other place, there are some things in the parks that might not be the most enjoyable. Whether it’s the manic weather or the hefty bill we have to foot at the end of our trip, there are some things in Disney World that we despise. But many times, you can actually avoid those problems!
It’s summertime in Disney World, and you know what that means — random downpours and unbearable heat.Â
But that doesn’t mean your visit to the parks has to be any less fun! With proper planning, you can still have successful trips in even the worst of weather. That’s why we bring you lists of what you need in your park bag, what you’ll need with you when it rains, our favorite items to cool down with, and much more. Proper planning is going to be essential this next week, as Florida will be hitting dangerous levels of heat.Â
Though many things have returned to “normal” in Disney World, there are still some lingering health and safety measures in place at Disney World. And, while you may expect to need to wear a face mask in some locations (like First Aid) or miss out on some entertainment offerings that still aren’t back — one issue that you might not expect to face is finding merchandise.
We’ve seen supply chain issues impact MagicBands, runDisney events, lightsabers in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and more. Plus, even some food items like noodles and chicken fingers have been harder to come by. But, it seems that the problems aren’t over yet — and, if you’re headed to Disney World this summer there’s one item that fans rely on in the heat of the summer that might be hard to find.
