There’s a new coaster hitting the Magic Kingdom scene!
It’ll be FAST. It’ll be HIGH-TECH. And it’ll completely change Magic Kingdom and how you plan for Disney World. We’ve got all the details, tips, and secrets for you!
April 4th is a very important day for Disney World fans!
On this day, TRON Lightcycle / Run will officially open in Magic Kingdom. The long-anticipated ride will not have a traditional standby queue when it opens. Instead, you’ll need to use the virtual queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane in order to ride. We recently got more details about how the virtual queue for TRON will work, and now we have another update that you’ll need to know about!
As Disney fans, it doesn’t surprise us that Disney attractions and hotels are some of the best in the world.
Disney Imagineers are generally WAY above the competition when it comes to theming AND technology. It seems that the industry, in general, understands this, too, because Disney just recently won BIG in the Theme Park Insider awards.
We probably aren’t the first ones to mention that Disney World can get a tad bit busy around the holidays.
We’ve been keeping up with the crowds and wait times so you know how to prepare for your visit, and while some crowds have surprised us (in being shockingly low), other spots have had big crowds. High crowd levels may tempt you to pay for Genie+ or get Pay-Per-Ride access to Disney World’s most popular attractions. If you’re thinking about trying to get an Individual Lightning Lane for the parks’ most popular rides, you might want to see just how quickly they sold out on Christmas Day!
Happy holidays from Disney World!
We’ve been taking in all the sights and sounds from the parks this week so you can be prepared for your next trip. From crowds to wait times to Genie+, we’re keeping track of it all. And today, Genie+ has reached its highest price yet again.Â
Disney adults…go to Disney World and they’re EVERYWHERE!
We’re not really ones to talk though, I mean, we’re all technically Disney adults here at DFB! But if you’re reading this, we’re willing to bet that you’re just like us. And if you want to find some like-minded Disney fans in the parks, there are a few specific rides that you should hit up during your trip!
What was the biggest new addition to Disney World in 2022? Arguably, it was Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind!
The brand-new ride took EPCOT by storm when it opened back in May, and since, guests have been eager to snag a boarding group and launch into space with Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, and Drax. In honor of the ride’s initial opening, the nearby Joffrey’s stand offered a special beverage — now that drink has been changed for the holiday season and we’re trying it out!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is EPCOT’s newest ride and it’s especially unique for a number of reasons!
In addition to featuring an immersive queue along with multiple pre-shows, it’s also an indoor roller coaster with ride vehicles that can rotate 360 degrees. One of our favorite elements of the ride is the soundtrack, which includes six different possible songs you can get during your ride, making every ride special! And now for a limited time, the ride will sound…a bit more festive.
It’s no secret, a trip to Disney World can be pretty pricy. But here’s why you might want to spend even more money during your time in the parks.
The costs of a Disney World trip can add up FAST. By the time you’ve paid for your park tickets, hotel room, transportation, food, and souvenirs, there’s a good chance that your budget may already be super tight. So, after all that, why would you want to pay even MORE money to ride an attraction? As wild as it may seem, there is a mathematical reason you might actually want to shell out more for that must-do ride.
This week brought some HUGE changes to Disney World.
First, we saw price increases on everything from Minnie Ears to water to food. Then, we learned that Genie+ would begin using flexible pricing, with a max of $22 per day on busier days. Well, as of today, we’ve officially reached that max price for the service.
