The holiday season in Disney World (which lasts from early November through early January) is one of the BUSIEST times of year to visit. Fans flock from all over the world to watch it snoap on Main Street, U.S.A., and to ogle at life-size gingerbread creations and 50-foot Christmas trees. It’s tradition! But there’s another tradition this time of year that people don’t tend to love…the parking crackdown!
‘Tis the season to enjoy the holiday season, whether that be in Disney World, Disneyland, or at home. If you’re celebrating at home this year, you can still bring the magic of Disney and the holidays to your PC, phone, and smartwatch.

How can you do that? Well, Disney just shared a whopping 20 NEW wallpapers for ALL of your devices inspired by the holidays. The hardest thing you’ll have to do is choose which wallpapers you like best!

New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Magic Kingdom
Well, if you’re making plans to visit Disney World for New Year’s Eve, you may be wondering what all you can see, do, and eat during that special evening. Well, we’re going to outline some New Year’s activities throughout the resort, so you’ll be able to ring in 2026 in the most magical way possible.
It’s the holidays in Disneyland, and we’ve been enjoying everything the holiday season brings to the parks. We’ve also enjoyed seeing the parks all decorated for the holiday season, the snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and eating our way through the Festival of Holidays.
Write a letter to Santa Car
But there’s one holiday activity you might not know about in Disney California Adventure that we wanted to make you aware of. Did you know you can send a letter to Santa in Cars Land? Well, you can!
Disney World as a whole is gorgeous during the holiday season. There are decorations all over, special holiday snacks to enjoy around the parks and hotels, and if you head to a particular hotel, you may even notice some ADDITIONAL decorations you can only see there.
Fort Wilderness during the holiday season!
If you head over to Fort Wilderness, you’ll find numerous holiday decorations up, just like the other hotels, but there’s something very specific to be on the lookout for. You’ll know EXACTLY what they are when you find them — trust us, they’re hard to miss!

Raglan Road
Now, we know, you’re probably focused on the parks, the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and maybe even Jollywood Nights. But don’t sleep on Disney Springs because not only can you participate in a FREE fun holiday activity, but you can enjoy five NEW and returning cocktails at one of our favorite restaurants, Raglan Road.
There are some really great restaurants at Disney World. Are they all showstoppers? No, but you can definitely find quite a few that we will run back to over and over. Places like Columbia Harbour House for the Hushpuppies, Flame Tree Barbecue for some fries, and, of course, Garden Grill for the family-style dinners are among our favorites.
Pulled Pork Fries
While there are so many great options, there are a few that are pretty basic, even if they are popular. We’re talking puffy-crust pizza, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and chicken strips. As much as we love several spots in Animal Kingdom for a bite, there’s one of these more basic restaurants that might be confusing about why so many Disney World fans are now running there ASAP.
We’ve got some great news for travelers who are heading to Disney World for the holiday season, but aren’t attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (or, who are, but just want to see Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade more than once).
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Typically, the only way to see this iconic parade is during the after hours event, which is an additional ticket cost, but closer to Christmas Day, the parade becomes available during the day for guests to see! Now we know exactly when you can see the parade as a regular Magic Kingdom guest this holiday season.
Can you believe it is already December? Even though we told ourselves we were going to get all of our holiday shopping done early, here we are still surprised that December has somehow crept up on us. The good news is that there is still plenty of time to finish up the holiday shopping, and we are here to help!

We’ve been eating a lot of holiday treats in Disney World, including treats at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. That means we’ve tried a lot of peppermint-flavored things at this point.
