In case you didn’t know, Annual Passholders or guests staying at a Disney Resort now have the option to upgrade their standard MagicBands.

This means, that for a discounted price, you can upgrade your basic solid colored MagicBand for one with a fun design.
Back in May, Disney announced that Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests would have the option of upgrading their MagicBand with 30 fun options. Our readers expressed a lot of enthusiasm for this discounted pricing on some of their favorite designs!

Essentially, guests staying at a Disney resort from late-May onward could log into My Disney Experience and choose to upgrade their complimentary solid-colored MagicBands to bands with designs featuring beloved characters, attractions, and more. The cost for doing so was about $15 less than guests would pay for the same bands in the parks.
If you’ve got an upcoming stay booked at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or you are a Disney World Annual Passholder, the previously announced option to upgrade your MagicBand is now live on My Disney Experience!

Disney Resort hotel guests and new and renewing Annual Passholders are now presented with the option to upgrade from the typical complimentary solid-color MagicBand to one of more than 30 new MagicBand options. Guests preparing to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for their vacation have, for five years now, had the option to choose from a variety of colors when selecting their complimentary MagicBands to wear during their trip. Disney World Annual Passholders have likewise had the option to select a new MagicBand as they purchase or renew their pass for the year.
