The phased reopening of Disney World continues, slowly but surely.
Though Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Mini-Golf Course has been open since July, the other mini-golf course in Disney World has been unavailable. Now, though, Disney has announced a reopening date for Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf!
While we originally weren’t expecting any of Disney World’s miniature golf courses to reopen any time soon, Disney always likes to keep us on our toes!
Previously, they stated mini-golf would most-likely be unavailable to resort guests during Disney World’s phased reopening while Standard golf and FootGolf would remain open, but like so many things right now, it appears they changed their minds!
All of a sudden, we’re learning LOTS of new details regarding Disney World’s phased reopening plan!
Some of the news has been really exciting (a new Flower & Garden and Food & Wine Epcot festival mash-up!) and some not-so-good (Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party got canceled!). Disney also shared lots of information regarding the new reservation system.
Today, we learned that Cast Members at numerous dining locations, resorts, and festivals across Walt Disney World have been called back to work.
As select Walt Disney World hotels gear up to reopen on June 22nd and the theme parks in mid-July, we learned that even MORE Disney World Cast Members will be going back to work soon.
We have been covering Universal Orlando’s phased re-opening of CityWalk — from parking to temperature checks, and doughnuts to sit-down meals.
But other than shopping and eating, what was there to do in the newly re-opened CityWalk?
This may come as a shock to some, but there are actually a TON of activities you and your family can take part in at Walt Disney World WITHOUT a park ticket.
