The Disney Treasure is the Disney Cruise Line’s newest fleet ship and is set to launch in December of this year. We already know A TON about special offerings the new ship will have, such as a Haunted Mansion lounge, and we’re very excited about the premiere of “Disney The Tale of Moana”, a new show exclusive to the Disney Treasure! No need to put that DVD back in the player or wait for a show to pop up on the cable channel when you can just put things on repeat with a streaming service. The time has FINALLY come!
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana
That’s right, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is officially OPEN for guests to visit. This long-awaited addition to EPCOT underwent Cast Member, Annual Passholder, and Disney Vacation Club previews, and now it’s finally time for everyone else to join in on the fun. At the previews, we saw crowds SKYROCKET to the point that Cast Members had to utilize a Virtual Queue. Disney also said that the VQ would be used again once the ride opens if needed. Well, today is the day, and we’re ready to check out those crowds!
There are lots of exciting things happening in Disney World in October.
EPCOT
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been going on since August, but the Halloween energy around the parks during the day really ramps up during October. But there’s a completely different reason we’re so nervous about October 16th in EPCOT.

In a surprising turn of events — Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is open in EPCOT!
Journey of Water
This new attraction is part of EPCOT’s Transformation, and it’s a walkthrough, interactive experience detailing the water cycle in the world of Moana. We’ve seen Cast Member previews happen, followed by Annual Passholder and DVC previews, and now it’s open to the public as part of a soft open. We’ll tell you one thing — the people are excited to see this attraction!
