Of course, we get TONS of announcements from events like the D23 Ultimate Fan Event. We also generally get some announcements when Disney hosts its quarterly earnings calls. However, a BIG event is coming up soon where we could learn a LOT more about Disney movies, television shows, and more SOON.

Inside Out 2 is set to open this summer on June 14th, and we’ve also got Mufasa: The Lion King releasing on December 20th (just in time for Christmas!). However, we’re really excited that there are TWO Moana movies in the works, including Moana 2, which releases on November 27th, and a live-action Moana. Now, we’ve got a huge update on BOTH films.
After Disney struck gold with the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, we knew more ride-based movies HAD to be in the works.

And sure enough, we got a Jungle Cruise movie in 2021 (that we thought was actually pretty entertaining). Then, of course, there was a second Haunted Mansion movie (which was…well, okay). Well, now, Disney has decided to take things even further with another ride-based movie, but this time, we’re scratching our heads as to how that ride will translate into a film.

Thanks to the era of streaming, we have SO many choices at our fingertips. That’s why we like to stay updated with the new shows and movies coming to our favorite streaming services, especially Disney+. And if you were hoping to stream Disney’s newest movie, we’ve got some important news!
Okay, so what’s your favorite Disney movie?

We know, we know — it’s hard to pick just one. Perhaps you’re a big fan of Mary Poppins (and are still disappointed about the Mary Poppins attraction at Disney World that never happened). Maybe you can’t stop watching Up (and we bet you get excited seeing Kevin at Animal Kingdom). Or maybe you just adore The Little Mermaid or The Incredibles. Well, if any of these movies are your favorites, you’ll have a chance to see them on the big screen again SOON.
We are OBSESSED with McDonald’s Happy Meals. Okay, actually, what we’re really obsessed with are Happy Meal toys. That’s probably because Disney often collaborates with McDonald’s on exclusive Happy Meal toys. Yes, we had a BLAST when we were trying to collect all those 100th Anniversary figures (and we’re still missing some).

Disney also often works with McDonald’s to create Happy Meal toys inspired by upcoming movie releases. However, McDonald’s released some new Happy Meal toys for a Disney movie…that isn’t expected to hit theaters until next year? Say what?!
Disney made a few HUGE announcements recently. Attention, all you Disney fans, we’ve got some GREAT news.
Moana in EPCOT
Although we already knew that Zootopia, Frozen, and Toy Story 5 were on the way, Disney just shared some NEW timelines for these projects. We even got a few theme park announcements. Perhaps the most surprising announcement, though, was about a movie that NO ONE knew about called Moana 2. Even stranger is that Moana 2 is coming out in theaters later this year! Say what? Well, now we’re getting news that one of the original stars from the first movie could be back for the second.
Today is a HUGE day for The Walt Disney Company.

That’s because the company is releasing its earnings report and having its earnings call to fill us in on how the company is doing financially. We’re learning more about how EACH aspect of the business is doing, including streaming and parks, but we’re also getting some big announcements, and one HUGE announcement just dropped. Disney just revealed the release date for Moana 2.
