We’ve made our way around the FIRST Oogie Boogie Bash of 2022, checked out the merchandise, enjoyed spooky food, and more! But does anything say Halloween more than Disney villains? Disney teased some NEW villains that would appear at the party this year, so join us now to meet the new baddies at this year’s event!

Oogie Boogie Bash has officially begun in Disney California Adventure Park, and we’ve been bringing you along with us for ALL of the festivities from the first event night. The anticipation has been building, with the event selling out frighteningly fast and Disney teasing guests with new villains. But we’re not here to talk about the villains, entertainment, or treats. No — we’re here to talk about someone we’re not supposed to talk about.

Of course, there are spooky treats, frightfully fun entertainment, and merchandise. But we’re not talking about any of that — we’re talking about the party’s treat trails. This year’s treat trails are full of unique villains, and one of the new arrivals is one to remember.

That’s right, Oogie Boogie has officially taken over Disney California Adventure (for select nights this Halloween season, that is) and there are tons of tricks and treats to look forward to. But we’re going to ignore the villains, entertainment, and snacks for just one second (we promise we’ll jump right back to those in a moment). There are some amazing guest costumes that you need to see!

We’ve already gotten a taste (literally) of the festivities, courtesy of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, fall treats, spooky merchandise, and festive décor. But Halloween time will really hit its stride in September, when the Oogie Boogie Bash comes to Disney California Adventure. And, speaking of the Oogie Boogie Bash — it’ll be a nightmare if you miss out on this Halloween jewelry.

After we got a small taste of the holiday from the Halfway to Halloween event, we were anxiously awaiting news about what we could expect from the spooky season! And soon after, it was announced that Disney World’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash would return! Now, we know everything we can expect from the Halloween season in Disneyland!
Many things have been returning to Disney World over the past several months, like restaurants, entertainment, character meet and greets, and more.
The Festival of Fantasy Parade is BACK!
Select events are also starting to come back, like Moonlight Magic. The first Moonlight Magic event returned to EPCOT last night for Disney Vacation Club Members, so come with us to check it out!
