Bright Suns! Or so they say on Batuu, the planet featured in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
We know that not everyone can make it out to Batuu, but there’s no reason you can’t send a Bright Suns greeting from home!
Whether you’re a fan of Ahsoka Tano’s white lightsabers, or you’re looking to own a lightsaber modeled after the ones owned by a Skywalker, there are lots of lightsaber hilt designs available at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
But, now we’ve got word about TWO new lightsabers coming to Dok-Ondar’s, and one is particularly unique!
Heads or tails? Right now, The Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is selling both!
Star Wars fans can create their own custom droid inside Galaxy’s Edge. Guests pick and choose from various parts colors then put their new friends together right in the shop. Usually, you get one shot at creating your droid. Once you pick a color scheme, there’s no turning back…until today! You can now buy individual heads and bodies at Droid Depot to swap out the pieces from your custom droid.
It seems like we’re not getting a lot of updates on Disney World’s upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel, although construction is still moving along.
Disney recently revealed that the hotel’s completion is still a priority for the company. And new aerial photos have just been posted that show work continues on the ambitious project.
Hey you! Yes, you! Put down that Ronto Wrap and tell the First Order to hang on for just a sec. We have some pretty wild Star Wars news.
Seriously, you might want to grab a seat for this. Disney World’s Star Wars-themed gift shops (on and off of Planet Batuu) have some pretty wild and wonderful wares. You can get R2-D2 merch, Lightsabers, and even a Porg! But, did you know you can also get…olive oil?
Ever wanted to grab some awesome merchandise from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?
Well, now you don’t have to fly to Batuu to get it! Recently, TONS of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge merchandise became available online, but lots of it sold out very quickly. Today, however, we noticed that many of the items are back in stock!
While some of us may have a pretty expansive collection of Minnie Ears, Star Wars fans might have a growing stock of lightsabers for BOTH the Light and the Dark Sides.
Although you can head to places like Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to build your own, custom lightsaber, other places in Batuu like Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities feature pre-made Legacy Lightsabers instead. These non-customizable lightsabers allow guests to become one with the Force carrying around the sabers of heroes and villains like Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu and more!
